It seemed time to write a more updated review of Bonefish - Greenbrier. We went as a family on a Sunday evening. We were seated right away and our server was extremely attentive. We all enjoyed our appetizers, our food and my cocktail. Maybe give them another try?
Restaurant was decorated nicely. Food was delicious and wait staff was excellent! We ordered the imperial dip for an app and it awesome! Hubby had the bang bang shrimp tacos, his favorite and I tried the fish and chips. They were not greasy at all. For dessert, we shared the carrot lava cake. It was his birthday so we splurged!
Visited on a Sunday evening after getting a craving for seafood. Bar area was quiet with ample seating, although some plates from prior customers were still at a few otherwise empty seats. This place appears to be appealing to local regulars, families, and older couples from what I saw this visit. I settled on ordering a mule for a drink, the crab cake appetizer, the house salad with salmon, the trout with vegetable and asparagus, and a piece of cheesecake. The drink came promptly and tasted as expected even if a little heavy with the ice. The crab cakes had good balance of meat to binder and good seasoning but felt texturally soft without the crispiness at the bottom or the top. The remoulade had a nice bright taste. The salad looked and felt fresh with lightly dressed and balanced ingredients. The salmon had an appealing look, good char, and good cook throughout. (I wonder whether they could consider cooking at temperatures other than medium for patrons like me.) The trout was well seasoned but dry. The sauce had an odd taste that led me to leave it off the fish entirely. The vegetables were well cooked and not over cooked. Cheesecake tasted fine as did the accompanying raspberry sauce. Some whipped cream would have been a welcome garnish. Service was more attentive than not, and my server made sure my order was placed correctly which I appreciated. Bill totaled just under $70 before tax and tip, so I am not sure if I felt the value with this experience. I suppose I could return and focus on the salmon and the salad and veggies for a quick dinner if I were in the neighborhood.
This place was awesome and Exciting. Jake & Blake are unstoppable duo. If one is waiting on you and happens to drift away the other is right there to assist. There Long Island is mine blowing as well as the Smoke Old Fashion ?? will definitely be seeing you guys soon ?
Not really a fine dining experience to me even though the food is pricier than most places (compared to European fine dining I wouldn’t consider it fine dining). Delicious food. I would definitely go back again.
Honestly, This place is the best!I’ve been going here for about 3-4 years and the workers are the sweetest waiters ever!The food is amazing!This place provides amazing drinks (not beer)It’s more then just a sea food place, there are so many other things.But it’s not like your gonna get Thai food or Sandwich’s there!The food comes sooooo quick!There are some important improvements they can have like…Getting more workers. As I said we have been there about more then one hundred times but we’ve noticed the same workers every single time.So yeas it’s the best but it’s it sooooo amazing there are no improvements:)

This is my second time eating there.Everything was great until we got our food ?The the appetizers where little cold no big deal we eat it. We are having a great time, then our meal arrived and was not that greatest. Spending the most money on the dish that they are offering expecting that they are doing something right!Unfortunately it’s 3am and I am vomiting ? all the food I had! Never going back!
Great service, great food & great ambiance!
Ordered the salmon, creamed spinach and broccoli. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach was cold, however, instead of taking it back and putting it in the microwave they earnestly righted their wrong which is why I think they deserve 5 stars. (Pam was my server and I appreciate her)
