We dropped in for a quick lunch. We are not super knowledgeable about Indian cuisine. The shop had a section of Sweets, an area to order "plates" and a small seating area. The plates section was like hot buffet bar. We wanted tandoori chicken but ended up with chickpeas and lentils over rice with a small tapioca-like dessert. The food was very tasty. Midway thru the meal a cook came over and, sensing our lack of familiarity, told us what we should have ordered and gave it to us.The place was very busy. There were numerous catering orders being picked up.I have no doubt this was not an Indian Michellin 5 star. But the food was good and plentiful, the staff was friendly. And the place was clean. We both left feeling stuffed for about $20.I would be happy to go back.

No flavor, bad quality. Really bad food. They should take Bombay out of their name, it's an insult to Bombay food.

I reviewed this place years back when the AC wasn't working and it was not pleasant eating hot food on a hot day on a hot restaurant. Bombay foods has cleaned up and kept the customer in mind. It's nice inside and I'm looking to enjoy the hot food on a hot day inside a cooled dining. The food has always been on point. There's definitely good blessings in the food.

overall very bad experience.went this location to buy the food for a family today afternoon about 2 pm and ended up buying 10 samosa. The guy named Suvan (with red hat backward and glasses) start arguing with me when I asked him about the tandoori chicken. There were 3/4 dry pieces sitting in the warmer. I believe that was from the opening. I asked him is there anyway I can get some fresh. he was so rude and answer they do not have when I asked him as a customer. He replied, " he does not care".please help him for giving some more training about the customer service.

No other way to put it, the food was just terrible. We ordered a Butter chicken, Chicken biryani and chicken tandoori. The only one that was even close to having any taste was the butter chicken. The rest, we just had a few bites and couldn’t anymore. We got up and left 5 mins after the food came. The tandoori looked awful. It looked sad to be honest. And the biryani was tasteless. Safe to say, I’ll never go back.

Centrally located good samosa’s very good Naan

This place is one of the worst place. went Christmas Day in evening time,I ordered some foods and later my husband want to some sweets so I grabbed the box and went to the julebi side ( check the spell)and one of the employee throwing some julebi from tray to trash box .(remind you she was trying to hide the trash box )I was right behind her then she saw me and ran to the front,I went to check one more time trash box around the spoon and paper side and it was real what I saw . They charge you each jilebi $3 dollars and even they know it’s not good . Shame on you awful indian restaurant. One day we will see your karma. Very nasty place. I will never recommend anyone.please beware. They only care about money not customers health. Nasty ????

Over all the hygiene of this place isn’t good. Sticky tables. Few people coming in and out of kitchen and not wearing masks. Aloo paratha with makhan are really really good. So is bhel puri chaat. Samosas is average.

Today we ordered tea.It was too strong so I asked them for replace with new tea. There is one guy I don't know his name he don't know how to treat customers always showing his face I don't then why he is working. As a customers we are paying for food so we have rights to ask them for replacement if food is not good. That guy really make me frustrated and disappointed so we left the shop. Hereafter we will never ever visit again and worst tea so I will never recommend for others too

The samosas are delicious and addictive with the two sauces they give you - cilantro and tamarind. If that were all, then Bombay Cafe should get 5 stars. It gets 2 stars though because the ordering seems to be slightly ordered chaos, and there were plenty of people - patrons and staff- not wearing masks. Imagine what kind of image for health and hygiene it sets to see the cashier not wearing a mask. What will customers think about the conditions in which their food is prepared? Really disappointing to see staff without masks in the middle of a pandemic handling food.
