Anita's is my go to place for breakfast. I have to admit, I sometimes eat the breakfast burritos for lunch too because they are so good. The staff is always kind and attentive. Maria is the best. I always ask for something different like an extra sauce and she ensures that my order is perfect. If you haven't tried their breakfast burritos, I highly recommend them!
The reason why I give them four stars and not five is because the drive-through wait time was ridiculous! It was over 45 minutes!!!Other than that the breakfast bacon sausage egg burrito and the cheese chicken quesadilla was delicious super fresh and properly cooked.I can’t wait to get more food and invite my friends over to eat [email protected] Memorial Day/ 2022-05-30
Visited for first time on a Friday morning just after opening time to have breakfast with a friend. My work had ordered breakfast burritos for a few events I had missed, so I was curious to see what my colleagues were tasting. To balance eating lighter with wanting some form of breakfast meat and fruit in my breakfast, I ordered a vegetarian burrito, pork pupusa, and plantains without beans. The burrito was pleasantly warm, vegetables were cooked well without being over cooked, and the salsa portion and flavor dressed everything well. The pupusa had some welcome crispiness on the outside (I could have had a little more personally) and the pork was reasonably portioned inside. The plantains had a good crunch and light brown exterior consistent with a good fry in regularly cleaned oil. Our server was attentive throughout as one might expect given the few customers present that early in the morning. She had a pleasant demeanor and brought food within a reasonable time from ordering (felt like 10-12 minutes). The interior appeared clean even if the space might be less used in favor of drive-through service which had a few cars in line for the better part of our time there. My friend and I decided we could have future meetings here at this time, so I anticipate trying other menu items in the future with hopefully the same cheerful and efficient service and good cooking in the morning!
Wasn't too busy for lunch, a bit slower I. Getting food and refill. But I think only one person was in the front.Food was good. Flavorful.
I had a breakfast burrito and it was very good. Why a 4 star. I looked at the menu on line and went to get dinner a couple times and the price was several dollars more than what the website said. I called and spoke to a young man and he stated that the menu shows lunch menu prices 11 am to 3 pm. So just a fyi dinner is more than what the website states. Otherwise everything I have ordered has been very good.
Wow thinking I walked into a good experience first time coming into Anita's EVER! I ordered carry out thinking I would just leave once my food was ready, I decided to stay and sit dine in since I and two other tables were there mind you there were 11+ tables open. As I’m enjoying my burrito I am greeted by the same person who brought my burrito take out order to me as I sat at the table. She begins to explain since I ordered take out I can stay today but in future reference need to leave after ordering take out! I can understand if it was packed but like I mentioned I was one of three tables out of 20....Anita's you need to do better with your customer service. It is quite contradictory to bring me my burrito while I am sitting at a table then tell me I can't sit at the table! Customer service has been lost due to the pandemic it's actually quite sad. I walked up to the take out dude and they had business papers all over the counter I had to sift through to retrieve a menu to order. YOU ALL NEED TO GE SECRET SHOPPED AND COACHED ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. You are bringing down Anita's name.
Ate here a few weeks back. We had seen Anita's restaurants in the area and always wanted to try it. Maybe my expectations were too high but I was underwhelmed. The service was satisfactory. The food seemed to be focused on quantity over quality. The portions were on the large side, so if that's your thing this could be a good place for you. But I didn't feel there was much care in how the flavors were organized and how the food was presented. This group seems to have been around a long time and I would assume successful. As such, I believe they could do better.
Very nice family owned Mexican chain in northern Virginia, this location is right off Le hwy next to a car wash, with outdoor dine in options, their portions sizes are large and their Chile renello is very delicious, their food could be spicy for the western pallette
You know when you dig into a meal and suddenly feel like you've made it home? That's what Anita's is for us. We lived in Albuquerque for 24 years so we know what New Mexican food is supposed to taste like. Anita's gets it right. The staff are friendly and the dining room is cozy. They send chips home with you if you are packing out part of your meal. Prices are pretty good though I think my fave, the chili relleno is a bit pricey. Like this place and it's sister restaurants.
Love the food and friendly service. Great dine-in and carryout options. If you live in northern VA and you've never had an Anita's breakfast burrito you are in for a treat! Go now!
