In one way McDonald's is comfortingly familiar no matter which McDonald's you visit. The food will always be the same as you remember and that food is so well known to everyone I see no reason to go into depth in it.However all McDonald's differ on how well their franchise owner has it together. This one has it together. The food was properly prepared and my special request (no onions) was honored, the restaurant itself was spotlessly clean, and service was fast and efficient. You cannot really ask for more from a McDonald's.
Took my daughter order wrong. Rung up food wrong, she ask for 2 double Cheeseburgers No Pickles. Rung up 2 double quarter pounds. Gave her 2 regular Cheeseburger plain COLD, NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE OTHER FOOD OMG NOTHAPPY AT ALL THIS WAS A VERY UNHAPPY MCDONALD'S FOR US. I went back in the store they told Me..You got to come back in the morning we don't have a manager here. I going to call the store in the morning because I don't leave in Danville Va. Long store short Look at your receipt and food before you pull off.
I woke up at 2 in the morning. I had an unexplainable craving for McDonald's chicken nuggets. Not any chicken nuggets, but the Chicken McNuggets™ that only come from McDonald's. There wasn't much hunger, but more of an unexplainable desire for these nuggets. I figured I would wait a bit to eat, because I didn't want to wake anyone with the sound of my engine.Hours passed, and I pulled into the McDonald's parking lot at 9 o'clock in the morning. The chicken nuggets were moments away. I approached the giant intractable screen which replaces human interaction with a cashier to order the mediocre meal. I looker through all the options. All the meals. I only found breakfast dishes and sadness. I was crestfallen. I sat in a nearby seat and found out that the lunch menu options were only available from 10:30 am to 5 am. My despair grew deeper. If I had heeded my craving immediately, I would've satisfied my craving. If I hadn't waited in my lazy hubris, I would've been granted relief from my late night nagging of my stomach. I drove home, dejected, and without a desire to come back that day.5/5 stars.
My coffee was great, but the 2 ladies at the drive-thru were not very friendly!
We only go here for the hot lattes, but the machine is broken about 70% of the time. Staff are nice, place is clean.
The fries were EXTRA salty and floppy, I assumed from old oil and sitting for a while. The sauce on my Big Mac tasted tangy, so I could not eat that either. I'm not sure what's going on with this location. They have gone from one of the best run McDonald's in out area to being on auto pilot with the food and service. Disappointing to say the least...
Was surprised but great food and quick. Just nor friendliest staff. However I understand why during these times.
If they would make the food fresh on every visit, it would get better ratings.
