You can usually tell a good Mexican restaurant by their Salsa and guacamole. Both were very good. The service was outstanding and fast! We visited from out of town for a racing weekend. We will return

We made reservations for my daughter's birthday celebration on a Friday. They were able to seat us right away, they kept our ice cream cake in the freezer for us, and even sang to our daughter!! The service and food was EXCELLENT! Thanks so much Los Tres Magueyes!
Used to be the best in town.Now the service is poor and the food is burnt.The last four times I've been there it's been one of the two.I gave up.
Food always good and great staff
I thought I'd try some different Mexican cuisine for lunch, so I picked Los Tres. It has a festive look, but it's a little dated. The staff is friendly and courteous; however, the food was average. Ths salsa tasted like tomato sauce with a little cilantro. The chips were warm and crispy, but only if they had a good dip? Oh yes... the guacamole was good. The fajitas were flat on taste, and the tortillas were soggy. It was okay, but considering the alternatives, it will be a while before going back.
Order came to the table wrong which is no problem but the server who brought the correct plate, literally tossed the hot plate on the table so that it bounced and made a loud noise and then she walked away in one motion without asking of its correct or if I needed anything else . Extremely rude. Maybe she was just having a bad day but no reason to take it out on customers. I used to be a server as well, and I would never be so disrespectful. Just wow. Also, got stained napkins, obviously not a very clean environment if the paper napkins are dirty. I am considering not returning, but maybe it was just an off day for this place. Original server finally returned about halfway through the meal to ask if it was right and tastes okay.
Normally have really good experiences here on my last trip the food was good but the male waiter was more concerned with sitting down and talking with someone in a booth sit versus waiting on our table. Definitely not going to keep me from going back still really good food.
