I won't be going back to the Danville Va location. Paid close to 100 dollars for food and it was all nasty and cold. The burgers didn't have any taste at all. The adult meals literally came with like 7 fries. Yes, I could count them. Only reason they got 2 stars is because the kids pizza wasn't too bad. I'm sorry but the price the food is I expected it to have flavor and be hot. I could and have made better food then this at home in my own kitchen.
I don't ever give bad reviews, but let's just say I wasn't impressed this evening. The sweet tea tasted awful like unsweet, my burger that I ordered well done was almost raw in the middle and mine wasn't even the only order that wasn't great. My husband and daughter had a great experience at the time before, but this time was not good.
No, no thank you and never again….. ordered for the family, the adult dinners came out at the same time of our appetizer, with only 1/2 the table having drinks. 40 mins later no kids meals, cold mash potatoes, and no answers in sight other than “the food will be right up.” Generally the food that did arrive was terrible and greasy. Don’t waste your time coming here.
Had never been, and never will again. Waste of a dinner out and 40 bucks. Bad service, literally had to be lead through giving us service..even had to ask for a refill on water. "May we have more water please?" (both our cups were completely empty) she brings ONE glass of water and so we shared it with using straws. She then brings us a small empty to go cup with a lid and walks off. (We didn't ask for it) Dirty dishes from salads left on the table until very end. Brings us the bill but never tells us she will cash us out. She got an 18% tip.Food was all cold. Could that be because she was standing talking and someone else brought our food? When a restaurant is busy, you expect hot fries..wings were cold..felt scared to eat them. My Ceasars sad was literally drenched in dressing and I had to ask for a fresh one with dressing on the side. A side salad is literally a half a cup of greens for almost 5.00. Ot sure how this place does the business...worst ever. Get it together people. Train your staff. Plenty of places to eat..just not this place. Yuck.
I went here for dinner on a Friday night with my partner and kiddo. We waited for 35 minutes after being seated to place our drink orders, a while longer before they came, and after that were finally able to place our appetizer and meal orders. Our pretzel appetizer came out quickly, hot, and with a good spicy cheese sauce. The other appetizer, their take on onion rings, was about 10 minutes later. Dinner for my daughter & I took another hour after we finished the apps, and our side order of fries never came (the waitress did check-in and say the kitchen was out of fries and making more, but that was after we had finished our meals.)Kiddo had chicken tenders and broccoli, and the broccoli did look good. I had the New Orleans pasta which was frightfully overdone, hard before it was in front of me. My partner had the buffalo chicken wrap, which came about 15 more minutes after the first two meals were delivered; the dressing that we requested on the side was drenched throughout, and the chicken itself was way overdone.Our waitress wasn't rude, but also wasn't attentive. The overall atmosphere is a sports bar - I've added a picture, you'll get the idea. I didn't like that all the coasters were for alcoholic beverages. They have a kids menu, but it's not exactly a family place.
First and last time here. The food is absolutely miserable and was seriously delayed. Had a couple of appetizers and several meals and all of it was bad: extremely low quality ingredients and so overcooked and dried out that it was just a terrible experience overall. Subway produces better food than this place.
I ordered a fish basket with the fries and Cole slaw. By the time it arrived to me, the fries were limp, and full of grease. The fish was crispy it was like a blah crusted covered fish. This dish was $12 that cost isn't the point. How can you sell crap to people and call it food. I called the restaurant to complain and the manager hung up on me. Nice customer service.
Hesitantly, we ate here. My $20+ ribeye was cold, as was my veggies and loaded mash. The server only checked on us once, when we initially got the food, so I thought perhaps it waited in the Salamander until she brought it to us, but my partner's burger was piping hot. No surprise as our server was folding silverware at the booth closest to us, and also chatting it up with her friends at the bar. Additionally, we were charged $9.99 for "bang bang" shrimp, when I ordered the additional shrimp for a lesser value. Food and service both need work. I'm happy to share receipt with management. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
Worst bar I ever been in my life, they trying hard to escort me and friend out since the moment we stepped into the place. It looks like the manger did not like the color of our skin, really weird.Ok.
