nice place to go with the family and eat
I ordered a plate of turkey with broccoli and mashed potatoes and it was the worst meal I have ever tasted in my life, the smell coming off my plate was spoiled meat. Now I have to say that at least the waiter was so kind that it made me less angry, the situation offered me another plate but honestly I had lost the desire to eat.
This Ihop in Danville, Va. advertises curbside pick up but 9/10 you'll have to go inside to get your online order. I have tried time and time again to check if the are keeping up with the times but they aren't. Every other restaurant I patron has curbside and serves these customers as well as inside customers.I called the number outside in the parking space and the lady that answered the phone said Hello!!! I was upset that she didnt say hello Ihop this is so and so how may I help you. So i asked her if this was Family Dollar, she hung up!! So sad
Upon my RARE visits to Danville IHOP, the Restrooms are usually in a disturbing condition. Ruins what enjoyment you get out of the meal. Bring your own sanitizer and/or baby wipes...no towels to dry your hands. I gave the second star because service and food was done nicely this trip!
Worst IHOP I’ve ever been to.
Food is traditional IHOP food, just not a good place for the price. Nothing stands out and the service while not rude, is just not that good. Kitchen takes forever even when they're slow. Only went cause we hadn't been in 3 years. Probably be longer this time.
Finally seated then was completely forgot about. Had to find a waitress to get the menus. After we finally received our correct waitress, we had good service. Next, when our food came out it wasn't right. If been going to IHOP for many decades, this is the first place I've had problems at..
Well to be honest we came in and the area we were gonna be seated in the girl (waitress) said she had something to do couldn't take us a girl spoke up said I'll take them she took us was by far the best server and was always was one step ahead great service and seeing that the girl 1st originally didn't want us and because this lady was so great we left a big tip
I don’t know why google says it’s closed, it’s not. But, it should be. I’ve eaten here a handful of times in the last year and it’s always been terrible. Bad food, bad service.Today we tried again. Only to be told by the very unpleasant hostess, “no mask, no entry”. There is no mandate in this county at this time for masks. I also ate at this restaurant less than 2 months ago, and not once was I told to wear a mask.If you feel unsafe, by all means, wear a mask. Don’t try to force others to wear one.I highly recommend you skip this ihop and try Tammy’s Diner on riverside instead.
Took hour and 5 mins to get seated. Won’t be back.
