Fri. Apr. 15th wife and I stop and grabbed two subs for dinner to go. Cajun chicken sub had four small strips of Cajun chicken, a medium sub, I was disappointed. Sandwich looked nothing like the Cajun chicken on the menu. Not surprise but, four little pieces of chicken?
We love Firehouse and this one is exceptional. They are always friendly and quick to make everything the way you want.
My husband surprised me with one of my absolute favorite places and sub for lunch today after work because I work in fast food and I work hard to please all of my guests. The smoked brisket cheddar is my favorite and when I say my first bite was rancid is an understatement as soon as I bit down the smell of the meat hit my nose and tongue at the same time I immediately spit the food out and had to rinse my mouth out with mouth wash and then brush my teeth just to get the smell of the rotten meat off my taste buds! There is definitely a problem with the employees on food quality. When I called this location to try and explain it to them I was greeted to a simple hello as if I’d called a friend not a food establishment but I was polite and said hello my husband picked up some subs today and my sub was pretty gross. Whom ever was on the phone said well maybe you should have just made yourself a sandwich at home then bi*^% and hung up! I couldn’t believe what just happened so I waited a few hours and tried to call again 4 times to no answer
Ordered club sub they did not put bacon on and when I asked gave me a cup of cold bacon. I asked for it to be heated and was treated badly.
Food was good, prices are to high for a sub combo spent 20 bucks on a foot long sub, chips and a drink. Dining room is open to the public so that's something.
First I will say the food is great but the service in the mornings is awful. Although the food is great if you decide to eat here I would only go in the evening because the workers that work during the day are rude & honestly look like they do not bathe regularly. I use to eat here all the time but lately the staff in the morning are constantly gossiping about other employees (I’m assuming because of what they say) & instead of helping the customers they are too busy talking or looking at their phones The older black woman that is a manager is the worst of all. Constantly scratching her head & does not go wash her hands after or has made me wait while she finishes whatever she’s doing on her cell phone. I walked out the last time I was there because I had made a comment about it & she told me that if I didn’t like it I was free to go so I that’s what I did. The owner or general manager needs to do something with the morning staff & I would recommend some soap, shampoo & a brush just saying!!
Sanitation is not their focus. Walked up and saw an employee outside taking a smoke break. She came in and never washed her hands. I know because I'm a bit of a germaphobe and wanted to make sure she didn't jump in on making my sandwich. It's always a very young crew. No hair nets ever. The place has never struck me as super clean. There was an off duty employee who kept walking over to where they were making the subs showing an on duty employee his phone and it was over the food several times. FYI you defeat the purpose of wearing gloves if you are touching everything in the world including your face. I won't be back.
Great food and great service. Everything is fresh and made quickly and just right. Moses checked me out last time and he was so respectful, entertaining, and gave me the best customer service I've had in a while. I also appreciated hearing how well he spoke to the employees. He was very patient and kind. Give him a raise!
I had high hopes for my very first Firehouse Sub. I ordered the Spicy Cajun Chicken, and I certainly will not be coming back for another.It was painfully obvious that whoever prepared my sandwich hates their job. My sub was a disappointing, mushy, sloppy and thrown together load of mess. It’s like the sandwich maker took their bare hands and just slammed the ingredients onto a piece of bread, balled it up and said “HERE, sandwich.”Two stars only because the chocolate chip cookie was to die for. Maybe go into the bakery business?
We were a group of 8, the sandwiches we ordered were wrong. The salads had lettuce that was rotten. I would not recommend this location. The store itself was smoky and cold at the same time. We will not be back.
