Called in an order and was quoted x price and was charged double that price. Called in and asked for a manager and the manager laughed at me and told me I paid right, even thought I was quoted way less then I paid. Food was horrible, thrown in to go boxes and they forgot our extra chips. Won’t return. This was at the colonial heights location near the target.
They lost my service after tonight!!! I will find a New Mexican restaurant to go to!!! 31.00 for just a one person order price wasn’t right. They seem to not care.
I come to eat here with 2 other family members and the lady throws the chips on the table, hasn’t come back to offer me anymore drink, instead I had to get up and find her to ask for more drink and chips. When I ask her for something she doesn’t speak at all. Terrible service, I have never had this bad of service out of the 100s of times I’ve been here.
Absolutely perfect! No waiting (even though packed), no wait for drink order and we ordered food at the same time with a jalapeño app. Within a couple minutes our drinks and app were served. They maintained an eye on our progress and brought our entrées out right when we finished our app. We ordered the Seafood Chimichanga which was OUTSTANDING!! Perfect size portion for someone whose been rucking all week!
Got my order wrong 4 times, no apology. Needed refill on salsa, no lime upon request and they denied letting us use our coupon, which we have used in the past. Not much flavor to food either. The Chester location is MUCH BETTER and they take their coupon. Will NOT go back!
I placed a to go order on Tuesday, the 18th, for the steak street tacos (a new item) and the nacos texanos. The food was done as promised, in 20 minutes. The portion sizes were generous. The quality and taste were excellent. I even reheated my leftover nachos in the oven, and it tasted just as good as when I first bought them, besides the chips being a little soft. Awesome job.
Nice atmosphere, and clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. Good food. The new habanero bowl is so good and spicey! Margaritas are very good as well! Great place for a family dinner!
The service was horrible. We were charge higher than prices listed on menu. It wasn't very busy. Employees sitting around . Had to actually had to get up and refill our own drinks.
El Cap is our "go to" for Mexican cuisine. Food is made to order and always hot. This time I ordered a burrito asado which was delicious! And I had extra left over to take home. Their nachos are decent and they are served with white sauce and salsa shortly after being seated. There's a lack of consistency with some of their food as I've noticed a difference in the spiciness and the thickness of their sauces. It's never a big enough problem for me to say anything but something I've noticed across locations. Still, a great place to take the family.
We arrived for Friday dinner at 7:45. Service is very very slow. Food was ok but they did not give Silverware and we were not expecting to eat our dinner with plastic forks and knives!!! ??Please make sure to ask for that they will give you silverware. Also when the bill came the itemized was NOT SHOWN . The waiter was not so apologetic and could have been serving better. No warm welcome and NO thank you!!! Would NOT return. Please go to chester Mexican for better food atmosphere and service.
