Waiter got order all wrong. Ordered 1 tea and 1 water, got 2 teas. Only ordered 1 salad and he bought 2 to table then took one away and gave to table behind us. Didn't bring silverware had to ask bartender for it. Asked for extra dressing for salad and it came end of meal. Found small stick in salad while eating it.The only thing management did for us was remove the 1.99 salad ?. Going to be a LONG time before going back there.Applebees in Colonial Heights.
We stopped in for an early dinner and were pleased with the food but the service was a little slow getting a table even though there were tons of empty tables. Once seated the service got better but the waitress was a little slow bringing our check. My wife had the fried shrimp and I had the broccoli mac bowl, both were very good. We'll stop in again the next time we are in the area.
Got into town late, stopped in for a quick appetizer and drink. My friends and I enjoyed it. Bar tender (DeeGee I believe his name was) was very nice, quick, made great Martini's and even though we were there 15 minutes after closing, didn't rush us one bit. I hope they get more help soon though. The place was relatively empty and we had to wait because there was only 2 table attendants. It's ok though, it was worth it. Thanks guys/girls
Definitely never coming back! Casual what ever attitude by waitstaff and management. Manager walks by menus on the floor next to baby seat! Waiter left plates on table while walking past 5 times, and delivering dessert. Food was ok.Some person sprays tables to clean...and never comes back...
The server was friendly and she gave great service but unfortunately she didn't see the value into making sure we took advantage of the two for $25. She charged me and my family for the dinners individually instead of noticing that we could have had a discounted value with our meal. Our table was sticking so we had to ask this hostess to rewipe our table. Other than that it was average food took a little longer than normal.
Worst location I ever been. Waitress didn’t introduce herself nor did she act like she want to serve us. Food took forever to even come out. Empty drink sat at my table forever. She decided to serve the other 1 table she had more than us. This is like the 5th time i’ve been to this location and everytime it’s horrible.
I ordered the strawberry balsamic chicken salad yesterday (Grubhub) and absolutely loved it. I talked about it so much I ordered it again today with my boss (Uber Eats). Big mistake. The greens were soggy, not nearly as many toppings as yesterday, a few sad pieces of strawberry, and NOT ONE PIECE OF CHICKEN! I was going to continue to eat it anyway since I was hungry...until I saw a freaking BUG in my food! Damn near threw up. Never again will I eat there or recommend it to anyone else. Not sure if you can see the bug in the first picture, but trust me it's there.
I really really hate bad reviews but unfortunately when you experience what I just did you have no other choice. I ordered us to go for a car side pick up at 1:16 PM for a pick up at 3 PM I arrive at Applebee’s at 2:48 PM the phone Number that is provided as a courtesy for you to call when you arrive to the store does not work no one ever picked it up I called 4 times. I also did a location route I gave my current location and they were able to see me driving to the store I waited in the parking lot until 304 when I entered the restaurant there was a lady there that had arrived 10 minutes prior to that trying to complete a work order for door dash she she still had not being greeted or assisted in anyway the two waitresses they had on staff for the afternoon shift where walking back-and-forth past us and looking in the other direction. All the seated customers were laughing is that well but they continue to look around and it was very infuriating because they made both of us feel unseen and uncomfortable. There should have been some kind of notification when setting up the order that there was a delay I had to walk to the front of the restaurant where the new customer that have to be seated where standing in order for one of the waitresses to finally stop for me after flagging her down tell her that I can visually see my paid for order sitting by the car stop car side to go area getting cold and can I just please grab my items …she almost didn’t let me and see if they were short staffed and I would just have to wait until someone can come I reiterated that I was looking at my order and it was sitting there on the shelf and asked her if I could take it she asked if I paid for it and I said yes I proceeded to the back of the store grab my food and walk out. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with Applebee’s. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the cooks did their job and the food taste good it was still slightly warm but all this could’ve been avoided had they just come out when that time was Scheduled
Our waiter was awesome he was there enough without hovering made sure everything was good our drinks were filled. I wish I could remember his name but he was awesome! Our food was great! hot and fresh and served in a timely manner great experience thank you! We did have to wait for about 20 minutes and it didn't look very busy in there maybe short staffed? That was the only drawback but the service and food made up for that.
People make an experience, and the people I met in my visit - they were high quality.Employees around the bar were always nice and all that, but what I appreciated was how the bartender (Quan?) fluidly kept his crowd happy AND kindly kept them from being too rowdy so as to keep other customers happy. He also had a keen eye for his patrons' intoxication levels, keeping them from making bad decisions.
