Haft to love the country ham! The food is usually pretty good but it can be difficult to get seated because their so busy, but at least you can get seated and eat. Couldn't eat at I hop they had 2 servers and Couldn't keep up with the people coming in. It's sad when people don't have enough employees because no one wants to work anymore.
It's was nice great food. But look at it. It's not been cleaned under Underneath it for a year or better the cleanliness is terrible in there Don't anybody have any pride in their job and their self regardless of pay. America use to be number 1 now it's a joke. Don't say u lv living America when u have no pride at doing your job . There personal cars are cleaner than this place. The The management is a joke
I am deeply depressed an suicidal these days not to mention homeless my comfort is usually Waffle House food or drinks and a nice booth facing the sun or traffic to distract myself being quiet an polite I came in for the first time an grabbed a booth in the corner facing the traffic passing by the nearby stop lights as I did a man at the counter riled up an said I’d rather take one seat than a whole booth I don’t need all that room I’d rather give it to a family that needs it the man and waitress glanced over at me the establishment was not busy or in any rush I’d like to clarify I am not by any means a dirty or scary looking nor smelly individual despite my situation I quickly grew uncomfortable and left I got into my vehicle to find another spot saddened that I can’t even find peace in a booth without judgement or disapproving looks if the establishment was busy I’d happily sit st the high top eliminating most space I’d take I do wish the waitress would’ve spoken up an seen visible mood change if so I would’ve happily remained but I chose to leave for people who weren’t even needing it in a place that wasn’t even busy with many other booths open
The black guy cooking with his toboggan and dreds hanging down is kind of nasty. Cold waffle that wouldn’t melt butter then a white half cooked waffle for a replacement. He forgot to butter the toast and the replacement for that was toast with a huge gob of butter in the middle. No where close to quality. This is the same cook back a couple months ago that shut down the entire restaurant without so much as a sign on the door and pretend he couldn’t hear or see us outside. The night shift crew is pitiful here and seems to think that working is optional.
Apparently they don't open until 7am. Heads up if you go anytime prior to 7am. Two employees inside and doors locked and closed. No purpose to advertise open 24 hours a day if you are not. Gave 5 stars because I am sure someone had told them to CLOSE and now days we don't need to stress over little stuff, simply come back another time, but they lost business for about 5 cars while we was there. Sheetz or McD's is only other options. See you again soon!
Not even a restaurant ? employees shutting down dine in because they don't feel like doing the work. I thought they were second shift working late and shutting down no it's third shift. When I asked the cook wanted to say I was running my mouth ect when I was only trying to see why me and my friends couldn't talk and eat terrible place service and work ethic
Service was complete perfection. The server was friendly, efficient and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept our coffee cups filled. Our breakfast was received quickly and as ordered. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Be sure to tip generously! These folks are working hard!!
I love this location. The staff are very friendly, always remember my order, and serve the food fast and fresh. This is my favorite breakfast location for my day-to-day.
The food was great, but the prices that we paid was outrageous. If you're craving some hearty food the waffle house is where to go
I went to this Christianburg , Va Waffle House to treat my daughter & son in-law to breakfast. Getting a to go order. When I walked in stood due 2 couples are in front of me. They never say hello how can I help you. They seat 1 couple, couple in front of me sit to wait for table, I’m still standing there later couple comes in they greet them & then get them the table that just opened up. Ok so I go stand at the cash the cash register. Finally the cook comes over & ask how can I help you , I tell him I have a to go order for 3 orders same ticket. He tells me we’re not taking to go orders because we’re short handed(6 people working). I’ve been in there at minimum 10 minutes & you couldn’t address me & find out if I wanted a table or takeout & let me know nontake-outs,instead of letting me stand there all that time & I would have continued to stand there without them addressing me if I hadn’t gone to cash register. Now I’ve been in Waffle houses and they’ve had 3 people working & still did take out & just let the people know it will take a little bit & thanked us for waiting.I’ve been in this Waffle House on a previous visit to Virginia and they were nice(different people). Did I receive this treatment because I’m African American or was it just bad customer service. Went to the Waffle House in Blacksburg and they were great.
