Stopped at O’Charley’s in Christianburg, VA on our way home from NJ. It was close to our hotel. The service from Hana was outstanding! She was efficient, attentive, and very polite. What a treasure this location of O’Charley’s has in Hana. Thanks Hana! Good job! Oh, and the food was really great too! If you are looking for a good place with good food in this area, you have to come here. You won’t regret it!
Jennie is great. On point and pleasant. Place is a bit dated ... needs refresh. Food is unique and most dishes are very good.
Our waitress was top knotch. Loved her. The kitchen staff however, was so behind, not only our order but other customers waited over an hour and half for part of our meal. Wasn't busy by all means. We got seated at 8 and left at 10.
Came on a Saturday night at 6:30pm, was told the wait would be about 25 minutes. After 35 minutes I inquired and they said they were just about to seat us (party of 2) but the waitress asked to give her a few minutes. Waited another 8ish or so minutes and was finally seated in the bar area. I'm guessing they were probably a bit understaffed (as are so many places) and hence the long wait. Server was very nice and attentive, we ordered an appetizer and both got chicken Tenders. Food was good and came out quickly but not on top of each other.
I usually have a great experience here however tonight, I was told there was a 30 minute wait, 40 minutes later we find out there will be an additional 30 minutes once we asked if it was ready. Upon being seated it was a good 15-20 minutes before we got to order our drinks. Then after one and a half hours we finally get our food. The steak was BURNT, and 2 other meals had hair in them. The waitress (Brook) was awesome! That was about the only good thing about our experience. The manager was completely rude. Then finally we get some things re cooked and discounted. We asked for a military discount and the manager snapped back “you’re already getting a 20% discount! Yeah rightfully so. I’ve been here so often! But lesson learned! Complete disrespect from the manager who is usually a sweet lady.
This is the most family oriented place in the NRV. Staff are so friendly and service is amazing. Laverne is so In Tune with her guests and makes an effort to go around and speak with everyone and makes sure their experience is the best it can be. We love this particular restaurant and always have a wonderful time dining with them.
Excellent service ....great food. The manager (LaVerne Petty) was wonderful!!! The waitress ( Kayla) was awesome!! We had a large party and lots special orders and everything came correct and warm and tasty. Will definitely come back soon!!!
We were from out of town and visit O' Charley's often.when we arrived for the 1st time we were met by a very friendly lady Ms Laverne petty who we felt ran a tight ship. She was polite and had a great leadership personality. The food was hot when it arrived and the waiter made sure we never needed anything. I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant when in area..
My family and I frequently dine at the Christiansburg, VA O'Charley's. The food is delicious! I want to especially thank Laverne Petty for her dedication and kindness to customers. She is a truly a delightful person. I appreciate the entire team at O'Charley's for their professionalism, kindness and attentiveness. Keep up the great work team!!
Laverne is the best manager ever! She treats you like family and is excellent at running the restaurant. Also, there is a new server there name Lorenzo and he was great!
