This place used to be great but the Internet(wifi) won't work recently and it has not been fixed even after the request.
Was somewhat disappointed yesterday when I took my daughter and daughter in law up to christiansburg for lunch in this charming little coffee shop. The ambiance is wonderful.I have been here many times in the past to enjoy their chicken salad wraps. They have always been so good with lots of delicious chicken salad in each wrap.Yesterday the chicken salad was in a croissant instead of a wrap - which I still ordered. BUT, there was so little chicken salad and the croissant was very large. A lot of bread and what seemed like a tablespoon of chicken salad on each half.I literally took the top half of the bread off in order to be able to taste the small amount of chicken salad. I had so raved to these 2 of these delicious wraps and was so disappointed. Please go back to having chicken salad wraps like you have done in the past.A wrap loaded up with your delicious recipe. This past way of making them was worth the 40 minute trip to Christiansburg. Not so yesterday. :(
It was a cute and peaceful place to study! I ordered a campfire mocha(seasonal drink) and also the vegetarian pita. I don’t like my coffee very sweet so I thought it was perfect, but I recommend asking for extra sweet if you prefer really sweet drinks! The pita was delicious and reminded me of a Philly Cheesecake but meatless!
Went there with my wife and a friend. Coffee was pretty subpar when compared to other options in the area but the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Beautiful Church venue with stained glass windows.
Great coffee place! Baristas are great. Food is fresh and tasty. Beautiful atmosphere. So nice to have Great Road in Christiansburg. If you're driving on I-81...worth the detour. Highly recommend ??
Hidden gem in downtown Christiansburg. Coffee tastes great and the food is good too. Worth stopping in for.
Came here to meet a friend and enjoy some quiet reading time this morning ☀️ The barista helped me create something I’d love & was very friendly ☕️ The place is BEAUTIFUL and incredibly clean! Each table has a small sign indicating if it’s been sanitized and ready for use. The aesthetic is completely unique and to say the stain glass windows are stunning in an understatement! ?So worth it, this might be my new favorite spot.
The coffee is always spectacular and the atmosphere is inviting. I look forward to the next time I grab a coffee there.
Great place to meet or relax.
Years past while visiting with my daughter Carolyn, I was introduced by her to the intriguing world of coffee and tea shops. Through many regions of this gorgeous country, I always find time to visit and partake of the culture, decor, and custom uniqueness of the “local” coffee shop. This shop, THE GREAT ROAD ON MAIN, is a former church refinished into a simple yet iconic establishment. Look at the decor, especially the reading chairs equipped with book tables. The ceiling is tongue and groove oak pieces of wood. The area rugs add to the home-like feel.Although it is Heavenly Coffee, it is certainly well beyond the theme and flavor of Chock Full Of Nuts Coffee.Besides delicious coffee, latte, espresso and more, the menus is complimented by wraps, pizza, hot dogs and quesadillas. When visiting the Christiansburg area in south-west Virginia, stop in for a piece of heaven.
