Cool BBQ joint near the highway with a nice staff and good food. Fried pickles and the catfish plate were very good. Onion rings appeared freshly made!
This was a pick up order. The initial order they presented me with was someone else's. While I waited they spent quite a bit of time trying to fix other messed up takeout orders. My order was missing one entree which I didn't realize until I got home 20 min away. I called to ask them to adjust the ticket amount which included a generous tip. No one would pick up the phone (they weren't that busy). I called several times that night without ever reaching anyone. The fish was dry.
We ordered 4 different take out dinners on a very busy Easter Sunday. They were all accurate, hot, delicious...we had very little wait time considering...couldn't have made a better choice!! Great service and great food! Highly recommend!
LOVED hush puppies, best we've ever had. The catfish was really tasty, very crispy. Fried okra and fried squash were both very good. Fried green tomatoes, not so much. Wait staff was friendly and atmosphere entertaining.
This place is super cool. We popped in off the highway. We thought the outside looked interesting that drew us there. The inside was just as interesting. It was a relaxing space with a retro vibe. The food we ordered was great….Better then we expected. It taste fresh and home made. (Very good…I can’t emphasize that part enough!!) Our server was super cool & sweet as pie. We were the visitors from Maryland, thanks for the great service!! We hope to return one day and highly recommend. Someone call Guy Fieri he needs to check out this dive!! Was in the area and chose to eat here. Best choice ever. We had a huge order, pork skins, ribs, burger, fish, clams, greens, baked beans, tater salad, banana pudding and more. Everything we ordered was simply amazing but the best thing out of it all was the pecan pie! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven on that first bite! Definitely worth the trip and the money!!!
Must stop buy and or drive through. One of Western Va's best kept secrets from the Eastside. The atmosphere, set up, staff and patrons are so wonderful. Decor is special and unique. If you like Southern food get this,also with a western mountain spin. Blue Ridge at it's finest. I went for lunch and then later.

Great food in a casual atmosphere. Drinks were unique and quite tasty. All the menu items we tried lived up to expectations. Service was quick and friendly.
Excellent friendly service and the food came quickly. Yes it was all fried but was crispy and delicious. Blackberry moonshine lemonade was so tasty! Pork skins were a bonus!
