Tried it for the first time. I had the fries catfish and had BEST Pancakes Ever!Everything was fresh and flavorful.Definetly recommend it.Service was excellent 10/10
Don't expect the curbside service. Myself and 4 others had to go inside because no one answered the phone. I asked who answers the phone and the front of the house said they're not allowed to answer if customers are up front and the managers will grab it from the back. After 3 tries I gave up. I placed the order 2 hours ahead of time and still ended up waiting for 20 minutes. The food was good as usual.
Server not very attentive. Ended up with incorrect food and was barely warm.

I absolutely hate this store. The managers don’t care and have little to no respect for their employees. They play favorites and leave people in the dust. The cooks don’t ever wear gloves, and most of the time, the silverware isn’t fully cleaned. On top of all of that, servers rarely wash their hands, and guess who makes the salads (hint. the servers). I don’t recommend ever eating here. I worked at this store months ago and just recently had to contact them for tax purposes to which I got no help and was given a false phone number to contact about my information. If I could give them negative stars, I would.
Customers are greeted in a timely manner, by friendly associates. Waiter shows up at the tables very quickly. Food is prepared in a reasonable amount of time. And the food is always high quality and prepared correctly. I like the price at Cracker Barrel. I spend more Sub Shops than I do for a nice sit down meal at Cracker Barrel. I highly recommend the Christiansburg location. Even when there is a high volume of customers the wait is still within a reasonable amount of time.
The food was good. People were friendly. Our service was very sub par. It took at least 10 min (my husband says longer) before we were ever greeted by our server, and it wasn’t even busy - we were seated immediately. Our server struggled to answer questions about the food and to take our order (didn’t even know how many sides our meals came with), then forgot to place the order for our appetizer. This was only admitted when we asked him to make sure it wasn’t on our bill, since we never got it. We had to ask for refills, and even then he forgot them and we had to flag him down again to get them. Of note, the manager basically walked back and forth near the fireplace. We never saw him actually check on the tables or walk among the tables in the dining room. When we were waiting for refills the manager walked out of the kitchen, quickly glanced around, and walked back into the kitchen. Couldn’t even flag him down.
They were packed and had tons of to go orders. Still got our order on time. Great job!
Always Delicious food Cracker BarrelMine & All My Families Most Favorite Place to eat. The Prices are Reasonable compared to.other places. But their Food is Superb, especially their Catfish, Dumplings. CARROTS. Biscuits. These are My Favorites. I just can't pass them up. It there everytime & Green Beans or Salad. My Favorite Meat is Catfish, but CB is the Best Fried or Grilled. Love the Fried Okra, but I can't eat a lot of Fried Foods like that. But CB"s Carrots are by Far the Best Ever *Just the Best Flavor* & Tender. Last but Not least I have to get my Cinnamon, Butterscotch Sticks, but you don't have the Rum.anymore.But most of the Prices in the Store like the Clothing & Retail Items are Priced way too High, unless a Genuine Item
We had a wonderful bunch this morning. We had to travel down to Christiansburg VA for some business and decided to stop and eat. Our server was very polite and professional, it was very refreshing. The food was amazing. I had the Grandma's Sampler, Loaded Hash brown Casserole Tots and my husband had Uncle Herschel's favorite. They were both delicious ?
