This is the second location where I have stood waiting forever while other people were waited on that came in after me. This last time I placed a mobile order, went to pick it up after 15 minutes. I stood there like I was invisible. 7 or 8 workers and a manager up front wandering around, picking and choosing who to wait on, get refills for , chat with and whatever. After 10 minutes a young man who seemed very put out to talk to me asked what my order number was. He went to multiple registers looking for it. Hadn’t even been pulled up. He meandered around then finally I see him standing at the side making my three sandwiches at about the slowest pace he could manage without completely stoping. Walked around with them , slowly put them in a bag then walked back to where he was making them and finally put one order of fries in the bag..Then he wandered up front to again , slowly closed thr bag with two stickers , walked over and handed it to me while striking up a conversation with someone. I watched another man stand there with no one else in line being totally ignored by the manager and all employees. I was in this business for 20 years and this place acts like they’re doing you a favor to even consider waiting on you. Chester has way too many more chicken places that may not be perfect but none of them are as screwed up as this place is. Never again and I will be sure to let as many people as I can to stay away from there. Not that anyone in the Popeyes organization could care less.
My son ate all of his tenders before we made it home. He goes to this location with his dad all the time. Everything looked good and smelled good. I didn’t get to taste it, but he seemed to be satisfied.
I hate being a complainer, however I have found their staff, not all, but the most were unprofessional, rude to the customers, short tempered! They never said please or thank you once!I will say this one thing.. the 1 star (should be 5 star for the cook) made a great chicken sandwich!!The 1star goes to the rest of the rude, inconsiderate ones! Oh and is there a shortage in napkin’s? You never put any in the bags..more than one time you didn’t!!!!!!!!
I don’t usually write reviews, let alone bad ones. But this one, I have to say it. This place is always getting our orders missing or wrong . When talking to the manager about the problem, he was very rude on the phone. Bad customer service. Would not recommend anyone. The manager also said he doesn’t care about that too. So there you go.
First off my order was placed on the app but was still incorrect and the food was lukewarm at best. I had to go back for a refund as they forgot my fish sandwich altogether. They did refund me for my portion of the meal and my family ate their food. I will not shop at this location again and may be done with popeyes after clearing out my points on the app.
Consumer beware! They will trick you into believing this is healthy. I ate a biscuit and had to be rushed to safety as I nearly choked! Be prepared to have trouble with their biscuits! Overall not terrible. I may return
Wow what a disappointment! I don't normally write reviews unless it's good but this time is different. I have never seen such small chicken legs and wings in my life. They were so small it was like a joke when I pulled one out the box and everybody started laughing. Then the fries were like chewing on rubber. A friend talked me into buying Chicken there but never again. I also ask for sauces and napkins and didn't get any. I will stick with Krispy Crunchy Chicken or Bojangles. Never again, they can keep their pigeon sized legs and wings.
Every dang time! I say we are never ordering from Popeye's again. But tonight the kids wanted it, so we did. We were over charged by about $20 extra!!! They charged us extra for each side and drink when we ordered combos. The person taking the order didn't even have the basic skills to greet the customer let alone get the order right. The line was outrageous so rather than muddle through longer with her, we drove to the window and hung our hopes on the window worker. Ha! Even worse! The person was so unprofessional and spaced out and we were so befuddled, we just left. I wish I could give them zero stars. Instead we just won't ever return. Appalling. Even for 2022. Screen shots are of our order and what it should have cost. The receipt is how we ended up. We decided against asking for a manager because it was so crowded and we'd probably have struck out anyway
Save your time and money - eat somewhere else!Never had this poor quality chicken from a Popeye’s location before: Thinnest chicken with the smallest amount of meat on them. Whatever meat was there resembled rubber - doesn’t look edible.
What in the world is this....This is what is supposed to be a Mac and cheese. This is what they sent to my house. Along with the wrong drinks messed up food and missing items. It is literally a hit or miss with this place but night shift seems to be the worse. I would much rather be told u don’t have something then to be given anything. I am truly disappointed. I know how it feels to work in fast food and I try to make life easy because we all forget things sometimes but giving someone food that looks like this is just wrong.
