You already know that I'm a foodie. So normally when I go to a Mexican restaurant, I usually order the quesadiila because I love that food. I like to compare how different restaurants make them. However, when I saw this picture of the Tierra y Mar, I had to have it. I've never heard of it before. Needless to say, it was delicious. If I see this back in my spot, I'll be ordering it.
I ordered before the table in front of me. 15 min later my original waitress asked me if I outgrew. SMH. Then I waited 15 more min. Now going on 30 no food just a drink. When they brought my food my fav quesobirria tacos there was no queso. OMG the heart break. The consome was delicious the meat well flavors but the cheese was MIA. Did I mention they have my order to another table at 1st. Not to pleased. But it's whatever I still aite
Today was the first time in a while we went back to El Patron and it was a pleasant surprise to see the "new look" the menu us new as well. Drinks were pretty good had a couple different ones I tried the platano relleno it caught my attention because is not a common dish and was very good.The place was packed for a Friday night but food came to our table really fast. Our server was really friendly too.Will be going back again soon.
I typically frequent this restaurant for lunch and ordered the Tierra y Mar, which I’ve found to be always delicious. Based on these good experiences, my husband and I and another couple decided to visit for dinner last Sunday evening. We went early to avoid the crowd and arrived about 4:45 (The restaurant was not busy at this point). We requested a booth which was graciously provided in the front section near the bar It was difficult to flag down the wait staff to bring us water and about 30 minutes for the waiter to even take our order. The specialty drinks we ordered arrived very quickly and were delicious. We placed our orders; the 3 of the plates arrived in a timely fashion, with no indication that a fourth was on its way. One of the three plates contained shrimp instead of steak. However, we did not complain about that one. Again, it took a while and 3 attempts to flag down a waiter or waitress to check on our order. The first one said they would check, the second said it would be 2 to 3 minutes, it was another 20 minutes before we could find another waiter. Finally, the fourth plate was brought out, was not what we expected and didn’t even come with the rice and creamer promised. At this point we requested that it be comped and were assured twice that it would be. When the check arrived, the charge was not removed until we insisted. All of this really took away from the nice dinner experience we were hoping to have with our friends.

Me and family have been going here for about 12 years and the food is to die for. The staff is very friendly and kind. Everytime my family goes for someone’s birthday, the owner makes sure to make us a tres leches cake, which is delicious. The food is always hot, taste good, the bathrooms are clean, and dining area is clean. I have no complaints about this place. Definitely try this place if you haven’t. And if you didn’t know already.. great family restaurant ?
Food is always great. My family and I are never disappointed. Employees are always helpful and always seem like they want to be there which is a big deal for me. I can't stand being waited on by someone with the personality of a rock.
The Carne Asada Fries and Jalapeno Margaritas were really good. The also had a really good spicy red hot sauce.The service was not so good. The waiter took forever to take our order/bring us our drinks and it wasn't even that busy. He also kept forgetting to bring us things we asked for and the Carne Asada Fries came out missing the pico and cheese.
What a great restaurant. I go here often because they have the highest quality meals. If you ever have any issues the management will fix it immediately. The servers are very nice.
Very good service. The wait staff was impeccably trained. Food was delicious.
