This isn’t just about this one store. We had an awesome waitress and it was really busy. But the grade of food was very disappointing! The green beans were nothing more than dumped out of a can and the mac and cheese had no taste at all. Hamburger steak was thin and greasy and I am not going to pay $1.00 extra for a little bit of gravy and a few onions. No knife so a little hard to cut hamburger and butter the biscuits. This is ridiculous! Couple of other ones we have eaten at did the same thing. Anyway I am done wasting my hard earned money at Cracker Barrel in general

Had a great experience. Great service and nice staff! Food came quick and everyone was nice.

chicken pot pie and biscuits were awesome had a good time with the wife on date night definitely recommend it

Pulled into Cracker Barrel at the Chester at Chester Virginia location for a free complimentary camping night stay during one of the worst thunder and lightning storms this season! Was traveling in my car with my service dog, thank you Cracker Barrel! And thank you Google for partnering, what wonderful information. (It is 3 a.m.) I got a nap and I made it to North Carolina this morning. Thank you , thank you!

This was a great Cracker Barrel location. Seating and food was fast with friendly service. The fried apples were a bit too tough and the turkey sausage is a little spicier than I like. However, it was all very quick and the rest was delicious. The fried chicken meal was enormous and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The cornbread was tasty and I liked that they offered egg white options.

It is hard to go wrong with anything you order at Cracker Barrel. The place was extremely clean and table placement makes it easy to enjoy a meal without concerns of Covid exposure. Our waitress was cheerful, efficient, and accurate with our orders. A nice place to meet family or friends for a meal.

After a long day driving, it was a pleasure to find a Cracker Barrel in the hotel parking lot. Just what we needed was a tasty meal served with southern hospitality!

Server (Tamara) started out great but quickly lost her ability to keep the welcoming atmosphere when a discrepancy was found with the menu and the dish brought to the table. I've had the same dish at multiple other locations - ordered identically each time - and this was the only one to come with some unknown "garnish" sauce on top (unmentioned in the menu) on top of the glaze. I even asked for the menu to verify it wasn't something I had missed (although I read the description multiple times because I'm specific with the foods I order/eat) and all she could say to it was "well this is how this location has always done it." That would be fine, but being a place for travelers to stop, though, one should make sure to include that the menu item is modified at that location.Food took a while to show up but that would be understandable due to the high amount of customers and it was nice and hot when it did arrive. We both ordered biscuits and no cornbread but we're served half of each. The receipt was dropped barely moments after all of the food was on the table - definitely doesn't give the impression of the server coming back to check on the table or opening the ability to order desserts without waiting to get the tab rerun. But, on the other hand, it gave me the opportunity to look at the receipt before we left the table to pay. Noticed my dinner rang up at the wrong price, the drinks weren't listed correctly, and biscuits were listed for both so not sure why we got the cornbread. Each time there was a conversation to be had, the server was always in a rush to flee from the table, get defensive, or flat out was dismissive. The gentleman that rang us out was very sweet and heard out the complaints but we did forget to mention the absolute zero toilet paper in the restroom. He kept asking if we were joking about the server as he says she is their best one...but, unfortunately, we weren't. I hope it was just an off night because the hot food was the only saving grace about the restaurant side.

Wait was about 25 minutes. Service was okay. Food was served hot and tasty. My Mom's catfish was a lot smaller than portions I have received in the past. I got the chicken tenders, and it was a lot! When serving fries, please bring the ketchup. I had to borrow one from another table after waiting about 10 minutes for server to return... Restaurant was clean, as was the restroom.

I would not recommend take out. This is the second time in a row that I have orders take out online. I was told to be there for pick up at a certain time and still had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes past the pick up time to get my food. Mind you, this is a Monday morning. Not a busy time at all. Then once I get my food it is cold like it was sitting in the back. I will not be ordering take out anymore. I usually have a good experience dining in but the last two take out orders have shown me they still have work to do.
