I'm not sure if I'm not understanding the menu or what but a couple times now I've ordered pork chow mein and have received some kind of soup. I tried looking into it to see if maybe I just don't know if there are different kinds of chow mein but I only see the same stir-fried noodle type dish, not soup with crispy noodles to put on top. It was in the noodles&rice section, not soup so again I'm not sure what I'm missing but it's happened multiple times now. Ngl I was pretty darn depressed to see soup again, anyway, the Sesame chicken, general tso's and house fried rice were really good.

The best in the area!! I come here every other month when I visit my parents. The food is always fresh, the shrimp fried rices is soooo amazing and lots of shrimp. The veggies are crispy and not over cooked. I’ve never experienced rudeness in my 4 years of coming here. There is a language barrier with some of the people because their English is not the best. However, they have always been kind and patient. They are take out only right now but will let you wait inside now. I’ve tried everything on the menu and it’s great.

Just passing through on my way to NJ but the take out was quick and very flavorful. The only reason it did not get 5 stars was there were no utensils for my steak and onions, nor any napkins. The teriyaki beef on a stick was awesome and needed no utensils. Although all the restrictions for Covid have been lifted in Va. they still choose to be proactive with restrictions for entry into the establishment. Good on them.

Ordered lunch from there today and when my husband got home with it, part of it was wrong. So I called them to get it corrected and instead of offering to make it right the person became argumentative with me and said I had ordered one thing, when in fact, I had not. He had heard me incorrectly but would not concede to that. Will NOT be returning to them, ever. On a side note, what they had sent (chicken & shrimp fried rice) was horrible! What I had ordered was the chicken & shrimp lunch combo with fried rice.

Chen’s is only doing take out orders. I ordered General Tso’s chicken and shrimp low min. Both were very good. The General Tso’s was not that spicy but tasked very good. The low min had a nice amount of shrimp. It also came with white rice. I’m a big eater and still have enough for lunch the next day. I would recommend and return to this restaurant.

Food was delicious, it is going to hard to order Chinese food from anywhere else.

I order take out from here 3-4 times a month and I am never disappointed with the food and price. My Granddaughters have a new favorite for Chinese food when they visit.

This is the quart of wanton soup. It did not go up much from there. The menu looked very enticing too bad it did not match the meal. The spicy dumplings where’re spicy and the portion was no where near enough to share. Very disappointed, do not see a reason to go again.

The one star is only because the young guy that assisted me over the phone was helpful and seemed patient with describing what all was included in the rainbow duck meal and explained to me Peking duck meal. Both were very pricey but went with the rainbow duck and wasn’t what I expected. The duck was tough to chew and I could tell the meat wasn’t fresh and had like a days old taste. There was also a weird sour or vinegary after taste to the brown sauce. It was my first time going there and I’m a bit irritated that I waisted $14 on stale tasting food

This place is awesome. Love , love their food! I highly recommend The Treasure Of The Sea!!. I always order take out or delivery.
