It took an hour for us to be seated when they had several empty tables. Once we were seated it took another hour for our food. We got nachos as a meal and it came with only sour cream and japs. No cheese or anything else. The fries we got with multiple meals were cold as well as the kids Mac and cheese. The server was very pleasant and apologized and had them re make them. Everything about this experience was absolutely awful with the exception of the serving. She was great. It took us a total of 2 hours and 15 mins at this restaurant and that was us eating fast. We have 3 kids with us and traveling I couldn’t believe how long it took for a Thursday night. It was not busy at all.
I will start with a positive. While eating in at this location, the wait staff is usually very kind and helpful. My family and I really like their staff.Take-out is a slightly different story. While the flavor of their sauces and rubs is outstanding and is what has built the BWW reputation, the lack of consistency at this location does no justice to the brand. I cannot remember a time in which I received my take-out order as ordered. My family tends to place big orders, and without fail, there is usually something (or multiple somethings) missing. While the managers have always been pleasant and accommodating (which is why I bumped the review up to three stars), it cannot offset equally the consistency of mistakes. The last time I ordered, my family and I had to go back because they had apparently forgot to put the buffalo rub on one of my wing orders. It was inconvenient to have to drive back. but when you pay for seasoned wings and get plain ones, you go back. My family and I really like BWW...yet this location needs to really work on it's quality control.
45 minutes ticket times but waitress was awesome
Food tasted strange last two visits and we made sure to order something different the second visit. Most drinks we tried to order were unavailable. Chopped Salad had canned chicken on it which you wouldn't expect from a chicken restaurant. Server was great but food took entirely too long for every table in the restaurant. The location is spot on but that's all they got going for them. We will travel to colonial heights next time.
Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. After standing at the front for twenty minutes having several employees including the manager walk past us with no response to questions or even someone will be with u in a minute. And it not like they were that busy. Employee’s to worried about whats on there phone to do there job. Saw a guy ask 2 different employees for a glass of water 4 different times and still didn’t have it when I left.
The worst place ever. The work wings are old, cold hard to bite into and super small the fries seemed like they had been sitting for hours! Don’t say I didn’t warn you keep your money! The best thing I ordered was the celery!
I placed an order on the web for pick up and included a tip. Knowing they had been going downhill for a while (I do NOT blame COVID), I was late for the 8:40 pick-up. I got there at 8:52 and had to wait behind four other people who had web orders. None of our orders were ready, and we still had to pay the total price. When it got to my order, three things were missing from the order that was 30 minutes late and counting. The only answer was I can make it now (and have you wait longer), or I can give you a store credit. When I explained I wanted my tip back, he said he could not do that because it was a web order, and you cannot refund one amount that is not on the menu. I asked to be refunded the entire order and keep everything, and he stated he could not do that without the card that I placed the order on. Since I had left it at home, I was forced to wait for the food to be made (which meant the rest was stone-cold), AND they got a tip for piss poor service. The woman running the register blamed our wait on the kitchen, and Michael, the Manager, blamed the lack of refund on the online system. There is no unity or advocacy for the company as a whole. They do not acknowledge their shortcomings and are unforgiving in their mistakes. It wasn't like this always.
Tonight’s experience was a pretty great one! Last time me and my boyfriend went to this BWW, we weren’t impressed. The location seemed to really be short staffed and there were maybe 3 tables set up in the family dining area. Tonight we were seated immediately at prime dinner hour and the food was great quality. It did take a bit for us to get our drinks but we realized quickly that there was really only one young waitress on our side, so we understood. She was great! Anything we needed, she was on it for us. We reckon they’d called in some corporate management or something because there were a few gentlemen jumping in and helping when necessary. The music was also a great factor tonight. All together it was just a good vibe tonight and I hope it continues! We will be back!
Took over an hour to get my food and the order was incorrect and missing half of what I ordered. By the time I got my food it was cold and soggy. My son was with me and he ordered the BOGO wings. Well needless to say that they just completely forgot his order. After I got my food he asked about his, well they forgot to send his order to the back to even get cooked. Another 30 minutes went by. Oh btw they don't have any chairs for their to go customer to use. So 30 minutes later and his food was finally done but low and behold it was cold too for just being made. I won't be going back there again.
Things were not as they should have been but when I called in I spoke to a manager Michael and he was great and completely understood where I was coming from. As this is my favorite place I’ll be giving them another try and BWW has the manager Michael to thank for that.
