Pizza was horrible. ordered two pizzas, a supreme and a pepperoni. I got a Pepperoni and a cheese. Had to send my Grandson back to the place 35 minutes later to get the Supreme. Ultimately the pepperoni was dripping with orange grease and the supreme was greasy, covered in too many olives and had canned mushrooms. the cheesy bread was unappetizing as well and remains uneaten. I usually try to review good experiences, but couldn't help but to review this place.
Originally ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza that was so overfilled with watery shredded chicken that it overtook the flavor and was disgusting. However on this one the crust was crispy and delicious. The only good part of this one.Returned and got it switched for pepperoni. Had to wait awhile and when they gave it to me they gave me a box of cookies to apologize for the wait. The pepperoni pizza seemed like it needed a few extra minutes, some pepperonis still looking pinkish towards the middle, some of the crust feeling really soft. Which is a shame because the other one despite its many failures actually got the crust delicious. When someone checked on my pizza after someone else reminded them I was waiting it was clear they left it in too long cause he seemed unhappy and remade a new one. He kept checking and checking this new one and I think his eagerness to get it out because I had been waiting caused it to come out just a bit early. Pizza tastes good but its just not done enough. Now I could be wrong and this is actually normal and I needed to request well done but the pinkish not fully done pepperoni leads me to think otherwise. The apology cookies were delicious, however I came for the pizza, which fell short.I think a better name for this restaurant would just be “Y”, instead of “Ynot”. Because Y would I return if my order is not going to be done correctly and just get forgotten about.
First and foremost the waitress we had was absolutely a Wonderful Joy to be waiting on us . My Daughter and I just happened , by chance to find it near my Doctor’s office , and what a great find . Our waitress Dawn was very friendly , kind and most helpful with choosing from their extensive menu !The food cannot be explained , it must be experienced . I have never had better Italian food in my life and I am 68 and have eaten at countless Italian restaurants and I would put the Waitress and the food up against any other !!!I don’t know who owns the place but ::::PLEASE , PLEASE put a location in Yorktown !!!If you don’t go and experience this place , then your bucket list isn’t complete !!!
We went into Ynot Friday evening for dinner. The food wasn’t as good as I remember it being last time we dined there. For the prices being charged I would have expected it to be better. The Alfredo sauce could use some work. I would have given three stars but our waitress earned the other two. A young lady named Kylie waited on us and she was very nice and attentive even though they were extremely busy. She made us feel like our time was important. She was quick to answer every question we had and was patient with us while we were deciding what to eat. We will go back because of her and hope the food is better next time.
We met family from the Outer Banks here for dinner. It took forever to get our salads and, when the food finally arrived, it wasn’t even close to being hot. One family member ordered a sandwich and it didn’t arrive until much later than everyone else’s full meals. Our waitress provided terrible service and had a serious attitude if anyone complained. If you really want a great Italian meal, drive to the Cedar Road location. You’ll enjoy hot, delicious food served by the most pleasant and competent staff.
I order a couple times a month and just seems over the last 6-7 months they just can’t get anything right. Ordered the Chicken Parm dinner tonight. And the garden salad. I get the salad with no tomatoes, onions, peppers (because I’m allergic) & no dressing. Also ordered a a small cup of Parmesan cheese. Well delivery driver gets here and the salad has everything on it including the peppers. And the chicken parm is cold. And they didn’t add the Parmesan cheese that they charge you for. Last time for me.
We used to really enjoy this place. Not sure if it’s under new management or something, but the last two times have been terrible experiences. My husband ordered delivery tonight and every garlic knot was burnt, no dressing for the salad, and hot food was ICE cold. I live about a mile away, no reason the food should have been that cold. Really disappointing. Also the sauce on the chicken was watered down? What’s going on?
I was extremely disappointed. I went on a Friday evening but it didn't seem busy. There was no one at the front to great anyone. We stood for three or four minutes until finally a server acknowledged our presence and someone from the back came to seat us. We sat for another 5 to 10 min before our server made it to our table. She asked if everything was OK right as soon as she got there. We thought it was weird but we told her that we need to order drinks and we already had enough time to go ahead and order. While waiting our server comes back again and asks if we were ready to order. It was weird since we literally just ordered with her. One of the two orders came out first but we had no silverware and had to wait until she made another round. 6 to 10 min later my meal arrived. Food was not bad but It came at a premium price. I will say we were checked on to make sure everything was ok at reasonable times and I appreciate that. Though as we were starting to finish our meals I noticed it was getting louder in the restaurant due to cooks and staff hamming it up around the bar area. It almost seemed there was no floor manager present and it showed. I guess I expected more if I'm going to pay almost $20 for an entre.
Really nice restaurant. The food was amazing. Not sure exactly what happened. But the entire table had extreme diarrhea the next morning. Extreme TMI. But we were all on the toilets fighting over who had to go get toilet paper
Always a great place for your Italian selections. They have a plenty of appetizers and entrees for you to choose from. You can also build your own salad or pizza or pasta if you'd like. They have a wide beer selection on tap if you're looking to pair that with the food. They even have different flavors of gelato if you're looking for something sweet. The staff are polite and professional. They are following Covid guidelines. Recommended.
