Pizza is very good! I wasn't a huge fan of the spaghetti sauce but I also don't like fennel which a lot of Italian dishes have. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Food was running late so he offered a free app because our kids were losing patience. Have been here 2 times now. We use to use great pizza company but we could never dine in there with all of our kids. Pizza is great here.
Many thanks for the neighbor who announced the opening. Dined in tonight. Service friendly and spot on. Extensive Greek and I will call it Mediterranean as well as American. The Greek pizza was well prepared , pleasing to the eyes as well as the taste buds. Excellent Ruben; look out New York. Best onion rings in Tidewater.A must gastronomic adventure.
Very good food and friendly service...our favorite greek pizza place closed and we were looking for a new place. Guess what? We found it and then some. Love their pizza and marinara is very good. Family friendly. Check their specials, try it you will like it...
Friendly and accommodating staff and owners - they went above and beyond by delivering our order curbside, despite being short staffed.The food was really great - the shrimp scampi and gyro platter were perfect! We’ll definitely be back for more gyros and pizza to try next!Living so close by might be dangerous!
Excellent family owned restaurant. Felt the nostalgia when I realized the family is from kalymnos. Such a beautiful island.Great food, not heavy, fresh and authentic cannot ask for more. We will be back
My wife and I went about two months ago just to try it out and we now go about once a week. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the food is incredible! They have a wide variety of options on the menu from salad, to pizza, and even ribs. Given the name, they of course also have Greek food. I moved from New York to Virginia 26 years ago and there aren’t very many pizza places that actually make pizza with a “good crust”, Yianni’s on Cedar Road has it figured out. The crust has that nice crispy bottom which keeps your pizza from being doughy and floppy when you pick up your slice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food. Save some room for dessert because there cheesecakes are awesome!!
Ordered Mozzarella Sticks, Meat Lover's Stromboli and Gyro's (Sorry forgot to take pic) All was very Yummy. I was very impressed with the Stromboli and their Marinara. The Stromboli is definitely large enough to share and that Marinara is Very Good! I cannot wait to go back and try different things!!! Waitress was Awesome and the owner very nice and sociable very comfortable atmosphere! Love that Great Bridge has a new Family Restaurant!!!
Well, after a great meal at lunch I had to return for dinner and was not disappointed!! First, the food was excellent! For lunch I had a ham & turkey club. For a “plain Jane “ sandwich, it was delicious, meat was fresh, bacon was crispy, tomatoes & lettuce were tasty, and the bread was toasted perfectly. My wife ordered the Baked Ziti with meat sauce. Excellent!! The Greek dressing on the side salad was wonderful. Fresh from the oven bread finished the meal. The portions were large, accounting for the two to-go boxes that came home. For dinner I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, salad & bread. Ordinarily, I would have picked something a little more “Greek”, but I knew how fantastic the meat sauce was. My wife had Eggplant Parmesan ……the best she’s ever had!!! Two more to-go boxes came out with me. I could not resist ordering a baklava and lemon cello to go. Good luck Yianni’s! You have a bright future here!
Second time in a week enjoying their food.First time was for the pizza, let me just say I've eaten alot of pizza and theirs is amazing. Crust and dough is so perfectly cooked and the way I remember pizza being from my family. We had the Greek pizza, the meat lover, a cheese and a pepperoni. All were great with my favorite being the GreekSecond time was tonight. Went and sat inside. I ordered the gyro platter, extremely fresh and well put together. The tzatziki sauce was definitely home made so was the hummus. The Gyro meat was great good flavor and texture.On to desert. Let me tell you I had the tiramisu. My favorite desert since I was a child and man was it good! Only problem was I forgot to take a picture for the review before I ate it. We opted to get 2 desserts to go. The baklava and the baklava cheese cake, neither of which made it home lol.I am very happy with this restaurant and the staff. Very good atmosphere and you can definitely tell it's a family business.Can't wait to go back!
We were anxiously awaiting to try this new place.Phenomenal.We went on a Friday at around 530pm.We were able to sit right away, but it did get busier as soon as we sat down (as expected for a dinner time rush)Restaurant and the bathrooms were clean.Food was SO good!!Staff was great. Friendly. Apologized for small delay in food (again, as I expected for dinner time)We had the meatball appetizer and a large meat pizza. Definitely will return!
