This food was REALLY good! Crab cakes were so BOMB! You gottta come try the crab cakes. Simple recipes are always best! The rockfish over pasta special was filling yet lite and so flavorful. Cheers to the chef! The homemade pistachio dessert…..GEEZ!!!!! So good. And the server we had was THE BEST!!!!! She made the whole first experience of Winston’s Cafe extremely memorable! We will always come here when we’re in Norfolk.
Went to Winston’s for an early dinner on a Thursday evening. There were customers seated, but not overly crowded. We ordered drinks and looked at the menu. When the drinks were delivered, the waitress said she’d be back to take our order. She came back a short time later, and began to take our order. She suddenly stopped, as she was distracted by one of her other tables needing something. She walked away and went to service the table in need. About ten minutes went by before she returned to begin again to take our order. Again, she suddenly stopped because an order for one of her other tables was ready, and, again, she walked away to deliver their food. This scenario repeated itself once again about ten minutes later. Now, we had been there 25 minutes, were finishing our drinks, and still had not been able to place a food order. We paid our drink bill and left to find a place to get something to eat.
Great time. First time there, went for karaoke, food was great, staff was friendly. Karaoke was wonderful, just a little small, but can't help that otherwise, join JJ and the karaoke guys on Saturday nights you will not be disappointed.
Been going here years. With in the last 2 years service has taken a dive. I’m good with lack of staff, it now takes an average of over 30 minutes after ordering to get your food, I do not think I should have to get my own silverware off another table, use a napkin as a plate while eating greasy lumpia, or be ignored while our waitress flirts with the table of Navy boys behind us. This will probably be our last visit. The food may be good but being charged $1 for for small pieces of jalapeño and lack of service will have me looking for other places to spend my time.
This place has amazing food. The chicken wrap was so good, I immediately ordered another after finishing my first.
Got an amazing French Dip! Nice diverse menu available. Is a regular stop now for a travelling worker!
This cafe was a nice little surprise. I ordered the special, chicken parmesan, and it was delicious. My friends ordered a wrap and a sandwich, and said they were tasty. The place was busy, and everyone was working hard. The kitchen was backed up, so we had quite a while for our food. Very friendly service.
I came here last Saturday with my husband and the food was really fantastic. We got the lumpia as an appetizer, I had the French dip and my husband had the a salmon wrap. This place might be easy to miss if you don’t know but give it a chance, great lunch spot!

First time here in years. I just never think of it as a option in greenbrier for some reason. I came in and was immediately greeted warmly by my server, Casey. It's basically a old bar but it's been kept up decently. I ordered the French dip. Can not say enough how amazing it is. They make it on-site and it taste that way!! From the meat itself to the aus ju. GO GET IT !!!
