Some of the best food and service in Hampton roads. The specials and desserts are always delicious.

amazing cheese burger and great service. love local

I love this very special place. The burgers and soups are amazing and desserts WOW!!Great place to bring friends and I love going in to see familiar faces.

The food was 5 star quality. I wasn't expecting a restaurant like this to serve perfectly cooked tuna with a smear of lime and chipotle sauces. The burger was chargrilled on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were hand cut and crispy. My wife ordered the crab cake and said it was seasoned to perfection and contained no filler. She also ordered buffalo cauliflower which was surprisingly delicious. I highly recommend this Bypass 168 and it kills me that more people will go to Chili's on a Friday night rather than give this place a try. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Great service and amazing food. The staff was friendly and quick with service. My husband and I each customized a burger and it was one of the best we've ever had!

In this day and age where nobody wants to work, I take my hat off to the two ladies that were operating this bar and grill the day I was there. Under the circumstances the service was very good, the food was excellent. Though the two of them were working extremely hard to keep this business working they were very friendly and courteous.

I’ve heard from a couple people this is a good place, thought we would try it. When you first walk in you are taken off guard how small & not very welcoming. They seemed to be rushing like the place was swamped & there was maybe 15-20 people ? The menu is VERY small, my daughter actually wanted to leave. We did order the chicken sandwich, dry but not horrible. The fries were very good. Got a piece of their “stoner chocolate cake” for $5.50…..that was the nastiest. It literally was dry chocolate cake w/ whip cream. Over all I MIGHT try it once more, but my daughter said never for her.

We have dined here twice now and love it. The food is great and the employees are as well. I try to support locally owned business and this is definitely one.

Was rolling up to Target at Edinburgh North in Chesapeake and made an impulse decision to stop and grab a bite to eat (based on Yelp reviews). We got in just before they stopped serving customers. The welcome was a little underwhelming, when the first thing the waitress told us was that they closed at 7:00 p.m., so we only had 30 minutes to eat. Okay.... We watched 3 different groups get turned away just minutes after we arrived. I wonder if the owner is aware of the potential business they are losing in this tough time for all restaurants.Regardless, my wife ordered a gin & tonic (last call is at 6:30 p.m.) and the crabcakes meal (she opted for a baked potato as her side). I ordered their cheeseburger with fries. Our meals were very good and convinced me to come back at another time, when we had more time to have a relaxed meal. The waitress was attentive and checked on us several times. When she asked if we wanted dessert, my wife ordered their strawberry cake to go. It was all very much homemade. The dessert was delicious! This is a little bar & grill, casual ambience, and they seem to comply strictly with COVID restrictions. Everyone was spread out and the areas were cleaned thoroughly after each group left. We will definitely be back.

Came here for lunch with a friend today and it was so good!!! The nachos with the man dip and the crab dip were so good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It was clean and out food didn’t take long to arrive to our table. So thankful for sweet little restaurant right here in the heart of Hickory and the opportunity to support another local business…our waitress was so personable and kind! We can’t wait to go back and get some more nachos! I love that they have specials each day too!
