The food was phenomenal. Everything was seasoned well.
What a delightful restaurant! The service was prompt and not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious! Beautiful live jazz music topped off a wonderful experience. Will definitely go again!
I would not consider this soul food !! Not to mention service was very very slow waited 1.5hours for food (they weren’t busy Mybe 1 other person in the restaurant)very overpriced also
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for our brunch date today. The owner is very sweet and the service was outstanding!
My wife and I went to support Black Business in the area.Service was lackluster at best. Waiter didn't even know the types of beer available which wasn't on the menu. The waiter took a long time to arrive and our food took even longer and we were the only ones there. The waiter allowed me to order Fried Shrimp and Grits which they do not have. My wife's food was not good she ordered Cajun Seafood Pasta which tastes like spaghetti O's. My food was actually good but the collards were loaded with stalks. Portions were extremely small. And for the price of a $94 dollar bill I was not satisfied. When I spoke to the owner in the nicest way possible of our complaint she only offered to give me more greens..otherwise she did nothing. I want to give them another shot but I am not sure. Also the music was extremely loud. All in all the food is good..
Those was my second visit to Soulivia’s Art + Soul Restaurant. We absolutely love everything about this restaurant. Great service, friendly employees, nice vibe, and delicious food! Will definitely visit again and again.
This was my first time going. The service was extremely slow. I had to ask for water and a menu after about 25 minutes. The food was good and the portions were sized well. I believe with some additional training of staff the experience would be different.
Save your money and your sanity. A $25 required hold per person, non refundable if any changes or cancellations outside of 2 days notice - we expected much better service and experience than we had. All the reviews about extremely slow and discombobulated service are on point. We had to constantly flag down our server and the manager for drinks and food orders. The wait time for our food was ridiculous. One of our dishes was not put in the system with the rest of our orders so it didnât come out with everyone elseâs meal. The manager then proceeded to put in the order âagainâ and that was delivered to another table. Third order was finally delivered after we had finished our meals. The food was good but not at all worth the frustration and headache of the 2.5 hr ordeal. The manager, and at times the chef as well, were having to review tabs with several tables around us. Too many other restaurants around to enjoy that get it right.
I took my husband here for Fatherâs Day. We opted for the outdoor seating (the weather was kind) and they have live music. The food and drinks were really good. However, they were short staffed and not prepared to receive the amount of people that were there for Brunch that day. It took over an hour and 1/2 for us to be served. Hopefully, they fix their staffing issue and get more experienced with dealing with a larger amount of guests for folks to have a better experience. Over all the food was delicious!
Extremely long wait time for a party of 3 ( myself, my fiancé, and out r little guy). Waitress was very flustered and received many different answers on when they officially closed. Had a 1pm reservation, didnât get seated until 1:30. Did not come to take orders until 2:15 and said they closed at 2:30. We did get a drink and complementary pastries for the wait. When waitress returned at 2:15, we asked realistically, how long will it take to get our food. She replied 1 hour 30 minutes.. well after the restaurant âclosedâ. We waiting in an uncovered area of the patio that would have been bearable if the wait was not so long. We decided to take our me losses and leave.
