I've only gotten it door dashed so can't speak to the building itself. The burgers are great, they definitely look like they made them themselves and not some frozen patty. They are a bigger than the average burger and thicker I did not need to get the double patty option to feel full (still got it though so I could have leftovers) Juicy with good flavor. Their seasoned fries are my favorite they are like classic curly fries, but not curly. Very good.
First time customers. Restaurant was empty when we entered. Waited 45 minutes for food while the 4 people that ordered after us got their food. Ordered 2 burgers, chicken strips and onion straws. Wanted a milkshake but was told they weren't making anymore milkshakes today. Everything was given to us cold. The onion straws are a pile of soggy mush. For $40 we're extremely disappointed and we won't be returning.
First time a Smashburger so I went for the Smoke Brisket Burger and I can tell you that was a good choice was very flavorful and a good portion
Long wait for food when restaurant wasn’t even busy. Ordered a classic smash burger, no changes and got a burger with cheese and lettuce. That’s all they do is make burgers and can’t even get a standard order correct. Almost $30 for 2 burgers, 1 fry and 2 small drinks. Won’t be back. Had to go somewhere else to even finish feeding my kids because they were so small.
I wanted to like it. We came at lunch, not sure if counter help was new but just ordering was painful. I understand needing to learn but either supervise or have more than one register going. The food came out and was okay, I ordered mushroom swiss truffle and all you could taste was the garlic mayo. Smash tots were good though. Fries my daughter got were just greasy, not crusty just greasy.
I had been looking forward to trying this place for some time. Imagine my disappointment when a place with "Smashburger" as the name, that started as a business to sell smashed burgers, instead served me a thick, non-smashed patty, with no crust or caramelization from high heat, and mediocre taste on what I admit was a nice looking brioche bun. Paired with decent, but slightly soggy tots. All for an exorbitant price.About the only thing I can really say about this place that is good is that they had good customer service, it came out fast, and the bun and pickles were tasty. But even that comes with a caveat. Were this actually a smash burger (it was -not-) then really, toast your buns, people. My first, and last, visit.
Just had our first smash burger from Felixstowe, and emmmmm really disappointed, burger meat was dry, sloppy salad and hard chips.. a very sad 1/10 I wouldn’t recommend and not ordering from their again….
A quality, higher-priced burger place. The cashier was friendly and the service was pretty quick. (I did order online ahead of time.) The burger and smash fries were good. It’s not the world’s greatest, but it’s a quality burger and sides.
I didn’t want to be disappointed in SmashBurger—Greenbrier location. Instead, the vegan in me was giddy with excitement when I learned they offered Brussels sprouts on the menu. Who knew you could take something as wholesome as a vegetable and make it so distasteful? Apparently, SmashBurger knew that was possible because that is exactly what they did. When the oil from a vegetable POOLS on the table, you know something is not right.? There was so much GREASE oozing from this order, the brown bag and all the napkins in that bag were soaked. I have never had to DRAIN a food before even attempting to eat it. Needless to say, these were inedible. I left SmashBurger as hungry as I was when I walked in. Epic fail.
Freshly cooked and delicious burgers. Good selection of sides— the brussels sprouts are my favorite. The portions are decently sized and filling. Friendly service. You do have to wait a little while for your food, but it’s worth it.
