Well done, good service, very reasonably priced.
Have you ever eaten at a restaurant and throughout the day all you wanted was to go back for more? That is this place. Probably the best sushi I have ever had. I dont even like Miso soup, but theirs was so good I have to mention it. I wont comment on the hibachi, only because the sushi was too good. Will be my new spot for sushi.
Ordered hibachi dinner, plenty of good tasting foods for a reasonable price. Tofu very good, shrimp and chicken good also. Dinner comes with soup salad and entree with fried rice. Service was quick. Inside restaurant rather small so fills up fast. Plenty of parking since it is located in a strip shopping building adjacent to Kroger. Menu showed great deals for lunch so will try that one day.
We visited on Friday, May 6th. We arrived at 8:45- google lists the restaurant as open until 9:45 and the sign posted on the window exterior of the restaurant states a 10:30 pm close time.As soon as we walked in, 4 servers were all sitting in the back booths and chairs, staring at their phones. After we were just standing there awkwardly in the lobby for a minute, in a completely empty restaurant, all the servers stared at us until finally one spoke up and told us to seat ourselves. When a young blonde approached our table, she threw menus down and asked us what we wanted to drink. We asked for waters while we took a moment to look at the menu. When the server returned, we asked for clarification on when the restaurant closed, as it was VERY evident we were unwelcome. The server informed us they closed at 9:15- we decided to leave. We would genuinely hate to inconvenience you all, but the absolute disrespect from your staff was disgusting.I am a service industry member & would have compensated my server appropriately- attitude or not. We were frequent customers pre-Covid but clearly things have gone downhill.
Really good dinner bout to go to graduation only 24$ for the whole dinner of the two of us
They were very quick. Had the hatacki shrimp.it was very good
We tried this place based on all the good reviews on Google but I truly don't understand why it's rated so highly. I had an ocean roll and the sleepy beauty roll, neither one of them were worth the $13 it cost. My wife had the tonkatsu and it was super dry. The establishment itself was cramped and everything was kind of sticky, so I'm not sure we'll be coming back. I only gave one star because my son liked his hibachi, otherwise I would have tried harder to give zero stars. If you're looking for good sushi in this area, go to Sakura sushi right up Battlefield Blvd. They have all you can eat and the sushi is actually good.
The food was excellent yet I almost slipped and fell on the greasy floor. With cooking that much food per day I suggest mopping the floor twice a day.
Always great food and people. This was the first restaurant we went to after we moved here in July 2007.
Great sushimi...
