Very disappointing experience. I will not go back. Prices to high for the small amount of food you get. Bubba Frank's in Carrolton and on Portsmouth Blvd are the benchmark for anywhere that sells BBQ. Every BBQ Restaurant should sell full racks of Ribs and not the mini ribs rodmans pushes off on you. I complete and total rip off establishment.. this is my first and last time going there. Service and the people were great but they need to look at the Suffolk BBQ Company and Bubba Frank's to see how a BBQ Restaurant should sell their food and offer similar menu choices. I really don't know where the positive reviews come from about their food because it was not good at all.
We get bbq plates to go with extra hush puppies. Slaw, baked beans, and a sample of the best peanuts anywhere. Generous portions.Do not leave without a tray of their awesome banana pudding!
If you love pulled pork with a vinegar-based sauce, this is the ONLY place to go !!! Their pulled pork is delicious, their chicken is delicious, their coleslaw is delicious, their peanuts are delicious, everything is DELICIOUS!!!!!The staff is extremely courteous !!!I love this place !!!
The food was great would eat with friends and family. It was my first time ever eating here.
Yesterday afternoon my family ate dinner from here we got the chicken and dumplings, bbq sandwich, hush puppies and fried chicken, the food was ok at best, but everyone who ate the chicken and dumplings spent the night in the bathroom with diarrhea and vomiting. This was my first time trying food from here and after that experience it will be the last time.
Always great food at Rodmans glad they are open again after the move.
