I'm not really sure why this establishment gets such good ratings, do people in chesapeake just not know what good Italian food is? I went there recently with my brother for lunch. I haven't been in 2 years because the last time I went the service and the food was horrible. The service was a little bit improved this time, but the food still tastes like they open a jar of store brand pasta sauce and pour it over the noodles. No flavor and no depth whatsoever to the dish. I got the lemon sauce and it literally tasted like they took the bottle of real lemon and poured it over edition added Olive oil. Do yourself favor and go across the street and try Luce for true authentic wonderful Italian food
The waitress wasn’t very nice. I never got my water. I didn’t get my coffee until I got my entree. Appetizers came after we started to eat our entrees. She got mad when we told her that we didn’t want the appetizers anymore. She gave attitude when asked to take them back. We just paid our bill. It was only. 9:25 when she told us to leave. Even though hours say open until 10 pm. We barely paid our bill. 2 people in our group was in the bathroom. She made us go outside and wait while the 2 people finished in the bathroom.Food is always good. Just service sucked tonight

Honestly.I’d really like a refund.This was not good.Went with the stuffed pizza.Dough was slightly raw while the pizza was simultaneously greasy soggy on the bottom.The garlic knots were okay. But otherwise. I did not have a good experience. Especially for the price. Just didn’t enjoy that at all.
Pizza and subs are always good. We've never dined in but staff has always been friendly and nice when picking up. My husband and I usually don't agree on pizza, I like New York style and he likes pizza hut but we both love the pizza here.
I’m always hoping to find a restaurant that makes pizza like I had growing up in New York. I finally found that and more at Reginellas. I started traveling to Chesapeake every month for business over a year ago, and stopped in Reginellas. Happy that they sold pizza by the slice, but amazed at how perfect it was. Have been going there ever since. The location is convenient, the menu is complete, and every meal I’ve had has been excellent. Nice atmosphere, not fancy but clean and pleasant. The guy at the front, Daryl, is always friendly and helpful, and the wait staff are attentive and courteous. Prices are very reasonable. I’d talk bout their pizza so much I brought one home, over a two hour drive. It was delicious but didn’t do it justice. So now my wife and I will drive over two hours to have their pizza or other entrees and make the day of it. Highly recommend
Yummy. Chicken parmesan was melt in my mouth good. The fried ravioli is amazing! They make their pasta and some of the cheese's. Totally different sauces for each dish and they finish the pasta in the sauce like they do in Naples.
EAT. HERE.I love the food. I ate here 4 times in 2 weeks! The staff is friendly, it’s clean, short wait time to get your food. They make it all FRESH and from scratch. I’ve not been disappointed a single time I’ve been here. The food is delicious and you get a large portion especially in comparison to what you’d get at a chain restaurant.
This is definitely a 5 star restaurant... when you dine in. We have been customers there for years. The BEST stuffed shells! However, I am currently stuck at home and my husband picked up to go for me. Almost everything I got was good except whoever packed the order gave me the wrong salad dressing (not a big deal) and ruined a perfectly good piece of lemoncello cake by covering it in chocolate syrup. It's disappointing throwing away money like that.
Was really looking forward to trying this place after all the other reviews and friends recommending the restuatant. After all if was my cheat meal for the week so I was craving Italian. We went on a Saturday around 3, took a min to be seated as we stood at front. We were the only table in the restuatant and service was terriblely slow. I told the waitress it was our first time there, as I was hoping she would recommend some great items on the menu. That was a NO. We ordered calamari and brushetta, calamari came out cold. Not sure how when we were the only table. The girl never came back to refill our beverages or check how the appetizers were. Appetizers were decent. When food arrived we finally got our drinks refilled and we split a pizza. Again waitress never came back to see how pizza turned out. ? I'm now looking for top notch service but as a customer who was willing there to try new items and spend money the waitress fell short of their basic server 101 etiquette, looks like she was pre-occupied for her laptop in the corner. I was really hoping to add that restuatant to one of my favorites in Chesapeake.
