This place sux for delivery. Waited over 2.5 hours for my order and there was no offer for a refund or discount. Full of excuses as to why the tardiness but no solution!!! Happens almost each and every time.
We used Ray’s Pizza catering for a funeral. We needed to place the order on a holiday weekend and Ray went above and beyond by giving me his personal number so we could get everything together before the day of the funeral. The food was delivered on time and was absolutely delicious and very comforting. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and the service was above and beyond. What a wonderful local business to support. Thank you Ray!
Enjoyed Calzone and Spaghetti and Meatballs. Food was tasty, hot and portion large enough for a meal the next day.
Haven't had much from the menu but what we did have was great! We will definitely be trying more from the menu!
I Finally Found a Real NY Style Pizza place in Hamptonroads! Funny thing is I'd been driving by the place for 3 years. You would never even know it's there, unless you accidentally passed by it and then you'd probably drive right by it thinking it was just another mom and pop pizza place. You'd be wrong. While it is definitely mom and pop, it's not just another pizza spot. Ray's Pizza is great tasting genuine NY Style Pizza that you have to eat right out of the oven to fully enjoy, so be ready to sit down and eat a couple slices before you even leave the store. Ray the owner is Brooklyn to the core and his Pizza is Brooklyn all the way! Do yourself a favor and go get a pie today!
Great food, horrendous delivery times. Like hour and a half wait if you're a mile away. It's good, but go pick it up.
Lived in the area for a year and a half and has driven by many times. Ordered for a last min family dinner and my whole family was glad we did. The classic Italian sub was delicious. My son loved his chicken stambolli. My wife and I enjoyed the Philly stambolli. Let me stop and say their marinara sauce is great, not acidic but also not to sweet. It has a great flavor of its own that pairs well with the stambolli. My oldest daughter loved the kids chicken fingers and fries but my youngest demalished, as much as she could, the kids ziti kids pasta. It was perfectly cooked and the sauce had a slight but sharp ting of garlic. All around great food and it can't wait to try one of their salad next time.
Subs are massive, pizza is great. and those wings...HUGE! Will certainly keep coming back!
Anyone who gives this place one star or a negative review is out of their mind this place the service and the food is absolutely amazing we order from them all the time! The strawberry cake was so good we have them doing our wedding cake like it haha love this place! Great prices as well!
