Legit Neapolitan pizza, but we had a super long wait time with take-out.We loved in Naples for three years, so it was refreshing to find this place. I was extra happy about the pistachio pesto pizza (although it would be even better with provolone and mortadella ?). It was delicious. HOWEVER, it took an hour and a half to get our four pizzas. I ordered through the app "Slice". It said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up (about 45 minutes after ordering...we live far away), the order hadn't been started. By the time the pizzas were in my hands, it had been 1.5 hours. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the app or restaurant.
I get that its a different style of pizza. To my inexperienced palate, it was burnt. The bottom was completely black. Pepperoni was charred and tasted good. I asked if the pizza was supposed to taste burnt and the girl said yea it is because of the wood fired oven being 1000° and theres no escaping the char, its how they do it in Naples. Service was alright. Not worth the $43 I paid though. You should warn people that they are paying for burnt dough. We left over an hour ago. Ive eaten ice cream and can still taste the burnt flavor. If this is what Italian pizza taste like I’m glad this place saved me a trip to Italy, I’d hate to fly there and eat this pizza.
Was pretty good. Not what I expected, but it was a different experience for my taste buds, and not like other pizza places I been to. I would definitely recommend trying it.
The Tuscan fries were amazing but the pizza was meh. Our crust was a little burnt which isn’t a big deal, but it tasted burnt. The pistacchio pizza is not truly Italian (Sicilian) pistacchio pizza. I was expecting pistacchio pesto as the pizza sauce instead of it being crushed and thrown on the top. It didn’t taste very nutty. So if you came to love pistacchio pizza while in Italy, you’ll be disappointed. I would like to go back and try the diavalo pizza though. I’ll give it another try.
Unsurpassed Italian Napoletana Style Pizza's - Multiple Italian options, antipasti, insalata's, etc., all made just like in Italia. In fact, all pizza's are cooked in an authentic Wood Oven shipped over from Italy.Family owned and operated. Husband (Mike), wife (Paula) and their terrific children welcome, interact and serve, all customers who enter their inviting restuarant.Private Wine Dinners are also exceptionally planned, coordinated and always sold out, because of their careful learned personal-touch and fun professional attention to detail.
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Ordered the margherita, had plenty of fresh mozzarella, the sauce and crust were perfect.
Food was great. Service was extremely disappointing which is why I could only give 2 stars and I feel like I am being generous with that rating. We ordered an app and then pizzas, everything timed perfectly. We went with our kids for an early dinner. We were done with dinner and asked for the check and a box. We were given a box but no check. While waiting for our check we overheard our waiter telling a large table the specials (we were not made aware there were specials being offered). Our waiter then took the very large tables order, placed the order, and had time to get and deliver drinks before checking on the family that was now waiting over 15 minutes solely to pay the bill. Finally he came back over to check on us and we got the bill which our card was in hand to give the server to pay but he dropped the check and didn't make eye contact or say a word. He then proceeded to go check on his large table, chatting it up before opening bottles of wine and finally coming back to the family just trying to pay the bill. We finally grabbed another person who worked there to run our check. At least 25 minutes from the time we asked for our check and the time we actually paid our check went. We loved the food but will probably never go back due to the waiter who chose to neglect the family with small kids for a large drinking party... And my husband still tipped him well despite everything. So he probably doesn't even know how rude he actually was. Again food was excellent, just wished we had felt welcome.
Very good service, but the pizza left much to be desired. Very bland, and not fully cooked. Would love to try again on a less busy night.
Best pizza I’ve had since going to Italy! Hands down my fiancé and I’s favorite date night.
Yummy everything! The owners make sure everything is done right. You never disappoint. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, too. Thanks!
