Been there twice already in a week! Nice little cozy spot and the food is amazing! Haven't gotten the sushi, it's not my thing, but other menu items are worth going back for me and my kids.Update: Been many times since my original review, it's still amazing food and great service.
Good place. Quiet. Friendly servers. Good ramen. I had the seafood and my wife had the tonkutsu. My kids enjoyed their pork cutlets katsu. We also ordered tuna and salmon rolls. They’re good, but I think the rice needs just a bit more seasoning…maybe. On the other hand, the fresh delicate taste of tuna and salmon stood out since the rice was seasoned just enough and not over powering. So, I’m a bit torn I guess. Hot sake was good hot. I will be back for more and really try their sushi rolls more.
I had the sushi rolls and pineapple mousse. Everything was delicious. The sweet tea was really good as well.
This place is my favorite place to get Ramen. But I also really enjoy their sushi and cucumber salad too. A little pricy on the sushi cost. But as to be expected with the prices of everything since covid. Service here is fantastic and the ladies who have waited on me are always so kind. I give this place five stars because if I was given multiple options for what ramen I want, I will always pick Osaka in Chesapeake!
This restaurant is amazing. The food is great and I've never been disappointed with what I have ordered. You simply can't go wrong since the meals are deliciously prepared and always consistent in how the food causes a joyride in all 5 of your senses.It's also important to note that customer service is top notch. Everyone is always friendly and always helpful when you're making an order. These folks are a prime example of a restaurant that not only cares about the food it brings out but also how its customers are treated.I can't recommend this place enough. Everything the menu offers from the appetizers all the way to the desserts is sure to leave a smile on any foodie's face. Will undoubtedly come here more often.
I have tried multiple items across two locations and I have never been disappointed. I was surprised that the ox tail for the ramen came on the bone, but it was tasty and worth the effort. The seafood ramen is also quite delicious. The staff is fast and friendly.
My daughter and I stopped here after a gymnastics meet for a celebratory dinner. The food was amazing. 10 out of 10 according to my daughter.We had the Takoyaki, which was super tasty, and then shared a tonkatsu Raman and an unagi rice bowl, as well as a Pink Monkey sushi roll. The hot green tea was brewed perfectly and had that wonderful toasty note. I don’t have a single complaint. In fact, this is the closest ramen I’ve had since I lived in Okinawa, Japan.Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Amazing experience. If you’re looking for a delicious meal please give Osaka a try.******Second visit and everything is as good as it was the first time. This time we tried the Osaka Bao and two different ramens. Super delicious!!
The Ramen I found to be salty and the Sushi could be better. Spicy Tuna does not need all those crispy flakes in it to make good sushi. Just the Tuna, spices, rice and seaweed. The location I'm reviewing is the Osaka in Chesapeake VA.
So thankful to have such a delicious Ramen place in Chesapeake. I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always simply delicious with fair prices and a great atmosphere. Just writing this review makes me want to head over and order!
This is like been eating my Ramen in Japan on my trip there. I will definitely come back there on my next trip from Miami, I would like to find a place like that here in Miami with the same quality! My mouth watering ? excellent service!
