Easily my favorite place to get sushi! The staff is incredibly kind and the sushi is very consistent and so yummy! If you aren’t a fish person they do have some of the best hibachi dishes around. Stop in and give it a try!
I have been here before and loved it, but it has been a few years. Last night my husband took me for Mother's Day and I ordered Thai fried rice with chicken. The portion was huge (but I don't think I'd say it was worth $17 ?) so I boxed the rest up to eat for lunch today. Imagine my surprise when I opened my box to find that my food from LAST NIGHT was riddled with mold. I am in complete shock. Two stars because the servers were super sweet. One star for the food. ?
The best sushi in the area. I live in Chesapeake and I have no problem driving there when in the mood for sushi.
I ordered in person for takeout Drunken Noodle dinner portion. Their spice level is 0-10, I chose 5. The dinner comes with miso soup and salad. The flavor and texture of the sauce was good. The vegetables were red & green onion, red and green bell pepper, and fresh basil. There was no tomato, carrots or broccoli. Tofu was cooked perfectly. Flat rice noodles were over cooked and mushy. The portion size is good. Will likely give them another try.
We have been here many times and this was the busiest I've seen it since the pandemic started. Quickly seated but it took the server quite a while to come back for our order after we received our drinks. The hibachi came out quickly but forgot the sushi order. It was left sitting on the counter. Even with all of that, food was still excellent. I think the server was newish too.
Great service and delicious food. The Pad Thai can be ordered mild if you aren't into spicy food.
Not impressed with the food. First, I ordered my food to go and the sushi was packaged inside a small container that smashed the sushi in. The cream cheese was soft and the smoked salmon didn’t taste smoked at all. The food was bland and I wouldn’t order from them again.
Take out food was flavorless and small. The tian mu friend rice had zero flavor and the chicken was super chewy and fatty. Could not taste the coconut at all. And there were no green beans in it like on the description. The Japanese spring rolls were 2.5inches big and only got 3 for 6.50…major rip off. In the description online it says nothing about size or amount, so partly my bad, but that was way too much money for 3 small spring rolls. Not ordering again.
This place is pretty awesome. Sushi is delicious and their Pad Tai is also ?. I'll be back for sure.
Service was great. But their prices, not so much. If you want to order Pad Thai or Drunken Noodle and do a combo of meat, they want to double the price of the dish. Add $4 for beef or chicken and another $5 for shrimp. Over $20 for a dish is not reasonable from here!! Other restaurants have the combination option for a total of $4 - $5 additional which is way more reasonable. As good as service may be, the prices will keep us away.
