You won’t leave here without getting at least 1 “WOW”! I have given this place numerous chances over the past few weeks and I still go WOW after visit number 5. Stacy is awesome. She is so accommodating towards peoples diets and serving sizes. Knowledge of all menu items and she has even turned me on to items I never knew I’d enjoy. Christian insures the quality here as every time something is low he doesn’t compromise, flips and rotates all the food so you know it’s fresh. When I see him here it always taste A+. I can’t wait to meet more of the staff as the overall great food + great staff and no competition for the prices…. This is a 5 star restaurant. Period.
This place is amazing! I work nearby and had noticed it in passing for some time...finally decided to try it out and brought my mom for lunch there recently.What a good decision that was! The food is savory, flavorful, and tastes very fresh. I like the "build your bowl" trend that has been more available lately (especially poke places) and Mezeh did not disappoint. The variety of proteins and veggie/sauce/etc add-ons are all wonderful. Of course the steak shawarma was great...I was surprised at how much I liked the Turkish yogurt, and the caramelized eggplant was better than I've had in a long time.My mom is not what you would call an adventurous food eater yet afterwards she enjoyed it all so much she made sure to bring home a menu.The juice blends available were incredibly good and didn't seem to have all the extra added sugar you find most places.All in all - great service, good music inside, and plenty of food for you're paying. Highly recommend!

At 2pm Tuesday we decided to check out this location. My husband checked the online menu for suggestions to order. Apparently some of the menu items were new. The man who my husband was communicating with told him to tell him what was on the list for the bowl he wanted to order. Instead of saying this is a new item that hasn't been updated on our list, my I see what Is on your phone? I believe this was very unprofessional. He proceeded to give out terrible energy to my husband. Which he returned in Kind. I've worked in the service industry for years. I'm not one who goes into an establishment with the mindset of the customer is always right, because we aren't. This man was totally unprepared and was flippant in his reply. Maybe management needs some training?
Didn't have half of the items listed on their menu. Didn't answer their phones. App was hard to use.
This place is not only delicious but an amazing hidden gem. Food is fresh and filling, love there cauliflower rice! Yum. Give it a try and you would start coming here instead of Chipotle. Wish I had one closer to me.
My wife, daughter, and I had dinner there a couple of days ago. I got a pita wrap, my wife and daughter got salad/rice bowls, and we got some baklava for dessert. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were happy to pile on extra toppings. My wife and daughter really enjoyed their bowls. My wrap was pretty good too. The baklava was tasty. Our dine-in experience was good except the restaurant could have been cleaner.Update: Restaurants were sparkling clean on subsequent visits to the Chesapeake location as well as the Charlottesville location. Thank you Mezeh for taking customer concerns seriously.
