Honestly the food at this McDonald’s is better than many I’ve had. Maybe the best. Normally very hot and fresh. And quick drive thru. But the staff that gives you your food at the last window is never commutative or friendly. You ask them for ketchup it’s like they are annoyed and don’t say, sure, have a good day. No word at all. This happens every single time and it’s hard to not notice. Need to prioritize customer communication skills at that window. It’s the last window customers see before leaving the restaurant. If they worked on that, it would be a model McDonald’s. Also- the last time I was there, a person was trying to take my order over an iPad and was just not a star employee. Rude, rushed, unhelpful. No one was behind me. If you’re going to have someone out there, make sure they are great in talking to customers.
This location is the joke of the century. They claim to provide customer service yet they ignore you. You ask a question and they refer you to a sign on the window that doesn’t even mention the answer to your question. No manager working at all. Basically the crazies are running the asylum. Worst experience ever and that’s saying something for a McDonald’s. They take your money and then hold you hostage.
Horrible experience.The cashier was unprofessional, when it was mentioned that 1 of the orders was wrong when said through the drive thru menu stop, ordered a spicy deluxe and received spicy crispy chicken only not deluxe . The drink had barley any ice it all melted within 3 minutes. I realized later that the Quarter pounder deluxe with cheese I got also didn’t have anything but pickles and 3-4 onions. I recommend to check your orders if you order from this place. They got everything wrong.
Placed an order at the drive through the young lady “Sidel” who’s name is on the receipt for my order was rude while taking the order, asked me if I was using the app today I told her I was she did not ask for the code or any other information, then when I got to the window and the next young lady handed me my drinks which were supposed to be sweet teas with light ice and very rudely told me they were light ice. The ice is 3/4 full in the cup, when I said that they were not light ice she told me a machine dispenses the ice not her and refused to remake the drink. I also did not receive straws or napkins. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the lady at the window but it was 2:30 on 4/2/22. I’ve NEVER had a problem at this location before. Below is a picture of my “light” ice
4/2022 - Service is very good at 0600. Yet don't get sodas at the drive thru...."Coke" is mostly cabination -- barely color and no flavor.Hit or miss service at this location. Food is standard. Staff can boarder on ghetto.7/31/21 very much improved. Customer service 9 of 10 at drive thru. Had to pull up and waited an extended period, was getting aggravated as food came out. A courtesy apple pie was in bag when I checked the order...way to go team!9/2020 - they don't know how to fill up a cup. No ice means no ice and fill to top. What can I expect for $1 soda.?12Aug18 - an apparent manager had her cell phone tucked between her ear and shoulder having a conversation while serving customers.? Her interaction with customers bordered on rudeness [tone and posture - as ig she was being bothered by doing her JOB]. Another staff member was sleeping at a back table in the customer area.***managers make the difference! Good managers = a very positive experience.
I asked for hot fries when I went through the drive-thru when I get ready to pay she told me you're well done fries is x amount of dollars do you want to round up I agreed I drove to the next wonder and my fries were not hot they asked me to pull up to the line and they will bring them out to me needless to say after 15 to 20 minutes they hadn't brought them out I went inside the first lady told me that the gentleman who told me that had gone for the day I said it wasn't a guy it was a lady and there she is right there she says oh I apologize I'm so sorry that happened but we're short-handed I replied I've seen five people have Sheen 5 or more people drive-thru since I pulled up to wait & I know at least one of them got some fries needless to say hey I eventually got the well-done hot fries That is my main reason for not wanting to ever drive away from that window without my food and you shouldn't either especially if you go to the McDonald's on Portsmouth Boulevard in Portsmouth Virginia it was nor a take away not drive in nor eat in nor a delivery Justu a big disappointment
Had lunch there today and ordered two double cheeseburger. Worse I have ever eaten at McDonalds. The fries were greasy and limp. Never seen that before!
My food is always right and my fries is always hot! Love this McDonalds. They just need to get the steak egg and cheese bagel back!
Great service, very clean building. Service is quick no matter if you use phone app, drive thru, or inside store.
Great service everytime I go but uh lately, has anyone noticed that the Coke flavor is kind of flat or the syrup flavor just isn't there. Been going on now for almost three weeks and I'm still noticing that the flavor isn't there it just tastes gross.
