I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This place has gone down hill and was absolutely disgusting on 4/17. The veggies were soupy and the food was bland. 7 out of 10 people in my party got chicken and 5 out of the 7 have all had food poising over the past 3 days, my husband is still dealing with it and one person couldn't even make it home the same day cause they got sick. The restrooms were extremely dirty and smelled horrible and that was reported from both the men and women's room. I will not be returning here and I have submitted a report to the Health Dept.
The food was good, the service was pretty mediocre, but EVERYONE that was part of my party that had the chicken is now dealing with some kind of stomach issue. I’m not claiming food poisoning yet, but my wife and myself are now home sick from work with stomach pain, nausea, and all the other nasty things that go along with “food poisoning” that I’m not claiming yet, but I won’t be going back.
If I could give 0 stars I would! Dirty floors and cook stations. The sauce bowls had stains. The bus boy through the towel that he used to wipe down the tables in the floor then proceeded to place it in the cleaning bucket. How nasty and disgusting is that? I will be engaging the health department.
Hostess was rude. Service was subper. Restroom was dirty. Cooks were spectacular.
Always delicious, we go to Kyoto at least once a year and enjoy the atmosphere and the demonstrations during food preparation. The chefs are excellent and engaging and the service is always great!
Very impressed with the taste and freshness of my dinner. I ordered the sushi bar special that consists of 2 chef rolls, miso soup, and l side salad. I went on a busy Saturday night so it took about 30min for the food to be ready. There were lots of people waiting to be seated. I got the happy roll and the sunset roll (substituted the eel for more salmon). Both were delicious and I liked the way they made them. The avocado was extremely fresh in the sushi. Even the side salad had very fresh pieces of lettuce. Really enjoyed this takeout dinner. Came out to about $19.
We sat in the sushi area and ordered hibachi dinner, as the hibachi was extremely busy. The sushi itself was very good, but the portions for the hibachi felt a lot smaller than what is served at the main table. It was very delicious, cooked perfectly, and service was good.
Good time. Very family receptive, but also has a bar. Not a bad choice at all for a night out at a restaurant.
I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years, this past summer there long time manager moved, since then the food has gone down hill from not cooked correctly steak to unbearable stinking food. I tried to tell the owner many times about the food, and the issue he got mad when I brought the steak that smelled rancid, and one of his employees agreed the steak was not right he gave me my money back and told me I was not allowed to come back. I don’t recommend this place to anyone anymore.
