I am always impressed with the food and the staff. My family and I have never had a bad dish. The staff work hard to please everyone best they can. Even during this trying time, where staff is hard to come by, they still crank out the best southern food with a smile. My family will continue to spend our Saturday morning there when we can. We live at the VB oceanfront but it's worth the drive for me.
Excellent all around. Good value, and delicious breakfast options. Felt a bit of nostalgia, service was above average and homey. Everything on my plate was delicious, will be going back!Double points for all the history and memorabilia on the walls!
First time here, food was great, kind of surprised with it being a hot rod ttpw atmosphere they didn’t serve beer, however it wouldn’t stop me from going back. Food is a little pricey but I’m gonna blame that on this terrible economy crisis we are currently in, everything is high. A lot of people compare them to Angie’s across the street but Hot Rodders menu is much better. Oh our waitress was great as well!
If you are looking for home style food fast then this is the place. Enough parking space to park a Mac truck. Family and handicap friendly parking, doors, and restrooms. Lots of hotrod pictures and paintings on the wall. Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Huge, thick pancakes. Chesapeake crab cake burgers available. Family owned business, family staffed, friendly and talkative. Better than the local fast food restaurants. Feel good dining experience.
My husband and I just had lunch here today. It is one of our favorites. The steak and cheese sub was delicious. I love that I can substitute fried pickles (which are awesome) for fries for a small upcharge. The food and service are great. The fried green tomatoes are absolutely delicious too. ❤️

Up beat atmosphere with plenty of awesome looking cars that have been through. The main courses and appetizer was excellent. However the sides were definitely sub par. But this is a family owned restaurant that is struggling to stay afloat. Please by all means go by and get a drink and appetizer if nothing else.
We stopped in for our first time last night. Phenomenal! From the staff, to the the food, to the atmosphere! This is already marked as one of our favorite places. It was the best hamburger I've ever had. The incredible staff really gave us an amazing experience. Can't wait until next time!
