Disgusting! DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THERE! Yesterday I brought the sesame chicken and the 3-4 pieces of broccoli in the entire dish wasn’t cooked and taste like it wasn’t even clean. The Brown gravy or whatever it is that they call it that they make the sesame chicken with was too sweet and had a funny smell and taste to it. The actual chicken was OK but because the broccoli and gravy was so disgusted that just destroyed the whole meal. Oh did I forget to mention that the rice was dry and sticky.I’ve eaten there quite a few times because I’m not one to try different restaurants. Once I find one that I like, I tend to go there quite often. I will give them this, they make very good shrimp and broccoli and they house special Chow Mei Fun or Pancit noodles are pretty good. That’s primarily what I’ve always brought from them. Other than that, I’ve tried a couple of other dishes and they were/are disgusting. Even their fried rice and chicken wings isn’t good! How can they mess that up???I will find a new Chinese restaurant now because not only are the majority of their dishes not good but I’m not even quite sure if it’s safe to eat there.
This is my favorite restaurant, when it come down to a Chinese restaurant. It's the bomb!!!!
From lunch specials to party trays and everything in between...have NEVER been disappointed. The food is DEEE-LICIOUS!!!
Scallops were good, but shrimp fried rice was dark like beef fried rice. Very few shrimp, hard green peas, few vegetables of any kind. Tasted all right, but it wasn't shrimp fried rice. I also ordered peppered steak. It was all right not bad. I was upset about the shrimp fried rice...
The food is hit or miss. Very inconsistent. Prices are very seldom the same even though we order the same thing every time. Also started passing credit card fees on to the customer, so we no longer tip. Many times when you try to call and order, the phone is off the hook. I’ve actually seen it happen when I was in the location waiting for food. It’s sad, because this place used to be very good.
Why have online ordering on the website if you're not going to check for website orders? This is the second time I placed an order on the website only for them to ask me to wait for them to cook it after forgetting to check. I was on my lunch break and couldnt wait and now I don't have anything to eat and my break is over. Very upset.
Last night was my first time eating here and it was a horrible experience. One item from our order was wrong, another item was missing an egg roll from the combination platter, and the fried rice was drenched in so much soy sauce the rice had an almost burnt taste to it. I didn’t even save the left overs. We just threw them away. The staff was semi-friendly but the food was very poor.
I want to Thank the Golden Star Resturant...I had a last minute gathering at work with a 2 day notice ordered a few party trays and some other things and they had everything ready for me earlier than I requested!..Everything was fresh and delicious..Definitely will go there again..
I do like the shrimp and broccoli here pretty good but never ever order the coconut shrimp it’s is not appetizing the coconut cream they say it has is very watery and the fried shrimp has to much batter and pretty hard to bite into but everything else I have ordered there has been pretty good
Typical IHOP experience. Still the best pancakes anywhere. I have to mention the country fried steak. So good it is a taste of heaven, the bad news is it will probably get you to heaven sooner. Best country steak since I was a kid in the country.
