There pizza is very good but since they have opened back up from there vacation i have noticed the pizza is taking longer to get here they say 45mins to an hour but tonight i ordered 2 party pizza's (same as usually) an it took 1hr 45 mins to get here. I called once to check eta and they told me an location and 30 mins later pizza just arrived. Not hot at all!!
Updating my review: we’ve gotten pizza twice since the new owners took over and it’s not the same. Both times the pizza was over cooked and tough. Super bummed as this was our favorite pizza place. Still had decent flavor but it’s just not the same and not anywhere near as good. I won’t order again.Absolutely love this pizza place and the delivery guys. We only ever order in but the pizza here is way better than chain pizza places and reminds me of home (Philly) taste wise. We even ordered the party size for my sons most recent birthday. They delivered right to Defy and all the kids loved it. Mom and Pop pizza places are the best. I recommend the mozz sticks, the marinara is awesome, it’s near identical to the marinara at Nicks on Snyder in Philly. Nostalgic for sure.
We have ordered here a number of times before no problems. Food is good and they have great prices for what you get but the delivery time is outrageous. 45 mins to 1 hr ?!?! But we came to expect that from this place and did not really mind because like i said the food good at very good prices so we just knew to order some time in advance. But today (March 26) we tried to order over the phone but no one picked up. We tried calling them for 1 HOUR!! and NO ONE ever picked up!! Not to mention their website is SEVERELY outdated and almost nearly impossible to order from. I don’t know how they’re going to stay in business if no one can place their order.
Understand why the overall rating for this location is low. First time ordering from here ordered online. Tracker online didn’t seem to be updating so I placed a call to the location just to check on the delivery status. The girl that answered had an attitude when she answered the phone. I stated I just wanted to check on the delivery status of my order. He response it’s coming. My question was how do you know when haven’t asked me for any information. When I mentioned to her that she did come across as being rude over the phone she wanted to do a back and forth start to an argument. I immediately told her to have a great day and hung up. First thing of reality when dealing with the public don’t try to argue with people when you have NO grounds to. Arguing with customers only gets you what you’re getting now a bad review. I can’t even comment on the food yet because I STILL don’t have it an hour later. I’d also add this is early in the day. How do you start off with an attitude?!
We order through Uber Eats and it was amazing. Just what we wanted! Everything was correct in the order too. Definitely will order again. Thanks!!!!
It is really good. A broad range of sandwiches, pizza, and Italian dishes.
The food has always been good and worth the price. I spend about $50/WK here. Today, I ordered onion rings w/my cheeseburger sub. I got what I consider a very skimpy order of 10 rings for $5.99. won't be ordering them any longer
Edit: first time I went to PICK UP, it was amazing. 10/10.Second time, I ordered delivery. Came 20 minutes AFTER the latest arrival time. Was warm, not hot. And the delivery driver didn't follow instructions for contactless delivery. I even tipped 80% on the entire order beforehand.
I've only gotten pizza here, but I have gotten pies multiple times and have catered two work events with 15 pies each. So yes, the pizza is really good and the staff is very accommodating. [email protected]@!
