2.5 Stars - I have been going to Burrito Perdido since they started back in 2015 I think it was. I remember the food being a lot better. In the last two years and a little before the pandemic the quality has gone down. I don't want to say it is because of the highschool aged kids working there , but i think that has something to do with it.I bought a $15 dollar burrito before a 18% tip which brought it up to $18 for a regular sized , deluxe steak burrito. The meat was undercooked and the burrito wasn't even cooked all the way. It was doughy - and soft and cold actually. I understand there is inflation - but if it is a $15 burrito before a tip it needs to be made to perfection. The guys that have rolling burritos all these years ... much respect. It was a bad burrito perdido experience today. Cold undercooked deluxe burrito steak burrito. I dont think I'll be going back to Perdido for awhile

Loved it! For how big they are, the burritos are very cheap. With each one ranging from 7-15 dollars you really get your money's worth. If you add a couple more bucks you can get a giant size of that burrito, which is humongous (seriously, you might want to share with a friend). A must if your visiting the area or just in need of some lunch.

Absolutely wonderful place, don't let the gas station deter you. My husband and I enjoy a cheat meal once a week and love to come to Burrito Perdido. The food looks and tastes absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly every time we come in and are very tentative. We will continue to enjoy our lunches at this wonderful establishment. Congrats to the new owners, you are doing a great job ?

Horrible customer service. I ordered a chicken burrito with chips and salsa on the side, then about 5 people came and left with their food while I was waiting. I finally went up there and they had my food at the take out drive up window just sitting there. She brought over my food and said nothing. Then tapped on her computer and I asked to verify if this was mine and she said “yeah you’re all set”. No apologies for completely forgetting my food. I ordered it to go and so did many others who got their food just fine so I’m not sure why mine was the only one left at the window behind the counter. Now I’m not a huge fan of tomatoes and it was not listed on their menu that the burrito includes them so I can’t eat my burrito because it’s smothered in crushed raw tomatoes which I don’t like at all. I will not be ordering from them again and I don’t recommend this place at all. Period.Update: salsa is listed as an ingredient on the burritos on the menu and that was my mistake for not seeing that, however, I would not call it salsa - it was just raw crushed tomatoes. I like salsa, but this was flavorless and only tomatoes. I still will not be returning and will not recommend them.

I’ve been here twice and don’t understand the hype. The food is fine but it’s pretty expensive. I ordered a steak chimichanga and it was mostly filed with rice and beans. Very little meat. The salsa is fine. It’s pretty watery but tastes fine. The burrito was large but for 15 dollars id get more and better food fromchipotle. If you dine in you’ll get chips and salsa for free which is nice. The service was pretty slow and the cashier was kinda peeved It was my first time. I probably won’t be back because there are just better options elsewhere for a better price.

they have the best steak tacos I have ever had!

I got the bacon ,egg, cheese burrito. Terrible, the eggs were over cooked and bacon was burnt very dry and soggy fries. Not worth the ten dollars ever!!!!

Do not believe the good reviews !!! Someone is stacking the deck. Have lived nearby for 5 years and every single time have tried to give this place a chance. It’s just terrible tasteless soggy white dude hipster wannabe TEXMEX. They must have a cadre of friends that write fake reviews as I can’t imagine any self respecting adult would appreciate their food. So glad to be moving back to Houston, where even the worst taco truck makes a better taco at a fraction of the price.

We love that Burrito Perdido offers local & fresh ingredients. The portions are insanely large and totally worth the price. However, the bathroom connected to it is-- and I mean this with utmost sincerity-- the nastiest place I have ever stepped foot in. (And I've been in some pretty rough frat houses, so please do not take this lightly.) Every time I think about going to Burrito Perdido, I get a little sick just thinking about that bathroom. If you use it, make sure you're up to date on all your shots and schedule a STI test afterward.

This place is really good with really good staff. The lady that takes the orders is younger and is really nice and is really good with kids since me and my friend are 13 and 11. Staff is really good like the food but… there is one dude I ran into the other day who was kind of rude who threw my food on the table and said bye. Although really good
