Not great for outdoor dining. Outdoor seating (raised wooden picnic tables and wooden stools) is very uncomfortable. Outdoor bar blocks the view of the water for about 20'.She-crab soup was flavorful but DH reports lacking crab and a little thin. Also, crab cake sandwich reported more "cake" than "crab".Mussles we're tasty and cooked perfectly. Fries were excellent. Good BLT.Live music was one singer doing karaoke, pretty bad.Friendly and attentive server.
This was my second time visiting Big Woody's, came right before the dinner rush and it was great! Small crowd good food, prompt service, overall a well experience. I'll definitely visit again in the future to try other items on the menu....plus they are a participant with GetUpside....my apologies, Upside now, that enables up to 7% cash back on your bill (up to $10, but still, better than nothing)
Got the bone in wings in plain and spicy garlic. They were so yummy. My kids loved them too. Highly recommended. I like they were not saucey, it was just like a seasoning instead. I am not a fan of spicy foods, so I was only able to eat 3 of them before my lips felt like they were burning up. My 11 year old daughter ate them just fine. I called and put in the order over the phone. It was quick and easy to do and it was ready in 15 min for pick up. Paid when I went in to get the wings. Highly recommend the food here. Atmosphere was almost like a small town bar and dining feeling which brought me back to my childhood.
Pretty decent spot for a Woody's chain. Most of my experience with them has been at Chesapeake Square, which pails in comparison to this Woody's.Drinks: wide selection at cheap prices. Worth visiting for a drink or two.Food: Pretty decent but nothing crazy. Well preparedService: Top notch with the waitress we had.
Just celebrated a family event in the banquet room, everything was awesome! Perfect size for 35 guests, plenty space to eat and mingle. The food was great, we had items from both the banquet and regular menus. Special thanks to Brittany for her help and responding so quickly, and to the staff for the excellent service during the event!

Food is awesome. Staff is wonderful. Went for my birthday. Band was awesome. They played a song for my husband and I tobdance to. Had a amazing time.

The crab dip literally taste like watered down cream cheese mixed with old bay. Very watery and zero crab flavor or even any meat probably. Last two times burger was burnt, apparently you can not get a medium burger here. $7 for a grill cheese that took 30 minutes, not fun with a starving 45 year old. Just an overall terrible experience. Last time was bad, this time i just feel like i was robbed. Slowest service ever. Just a miserable experience today.
