Our waitress (Donna) was amazing. She was delightful, professional and very responsive. We had a great dining experience because of her jovial personality and attentiveness. We need more people like Donna to make dining out enjoyable. With her warm personality and customer engagement, she would be great at training and managing others. When we dine at Applebees again, we will look for Donna.
I've never been so disappointed with Applebee's. Went this Saturday to enjoy a nice meal with my daughter. I was looking forward to a nice juicy steak. The steak came and when I cut into the steak it was literally 3 different colors. When I flipped it over only one side had grill marks. It looked like it was microwaved. I was so disappointed. I should of said something to the manager but I don't think she would of cared. I still left my waitress a $10 tip. It wasn't her fault.
Was there around 5:30 pm on a Sunday. Food was great as always. When were were finished and ready for our check and then the manager decided to have a crew meeting in the kitchen. We listened to her actually barking at the crew right inside the dining room doorway for a solid 10 minutes with NOBODY on the floor. We signaled to our server who we could see through the open doorway. Manager held them there until she was finished barking at them. She ruined our whole experience.
We went to Applebee's for my birthday. After supper I received a dessert and the wait staff sang happy birthday. The food was delicious and my family also liked their food. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. She went to ask a specific question about preparing a meal. She came back with the answer and we placed our orders. Thank you Applebee's at Chesapeake Square Mall for making my day extra special.
By far one of my best experiences in a chain restaurant. A couple snafus; mixed up orders and such, but nothing that wasn't easily fixed on our own. They had nowhere near enough staff, but those who were there busted their tails. But, over all, nicely flavored food
The server was nice her name was Haven. The food was okay, but not so much that I would want it again. I know everyone is doing the best they can, but I still paid full price for an average meal at best.
It was not to busy at 6pm , the waitress was great. I wish I asked her name, she was so wonderful. It was a Birhday dinner so she had her hands full. My food was great. The chicken sandwich my niece ordered looked amazing. Everyone seemed to like their food .
Went in to eat. Sat down right away and got our drinks service was good but the food was lacking. My chicken strip were raw and very pink on the inside showed the manager and they made another larger portion for the second time.
Had lunch here today. The food was horrible. My sons corn dog came out still frozen. FROZEN. They didn't even cook it. My other sons chicken taco had barely any chicken on it. Our burgers were so salty they were barely edible. We will NEVER be going back.
Waitress Monica O in Chesapeake Square is an awesome asset to the company. She was polite, cool and very knowledgeable about the menu items as well as the portion sizes. She waited on 2 additional tables during my visit and we had lots of laughs as we complemented how well she treated us. Her honestly was very refreshing and much appreciated. I always get the chicken Alfredo pasta and she restored my faith in Applebees because previous visit wasn't as pleasant. We'll definitely be back very soon!
