Years ago I lived in Loudoun County (back when that was a good thing) and shopped at Wegmans first Virginia location. They were AWESOME! And they are consistently awesome every day since.
The Alexandria Wegmans catering department went out of its way to save our informal gathering after our son's and daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal.

Today was the third time I saw a customer without a face mask. The previous 2 times I alerted an employee to the transgression and was told they could not force people to wear masks. Well, they can ask them to leave as Virginia has a mandate from the governor requiring face masks.

I was shopping at the Charlottesville Wegmans and I asked the butcher to cut some beef and he flat out refused. At first he said it was bc he wasn’t allowed to cut packaged meat, then when I asked if there was beef in the back he could cut he lied and said no. I drop at least $2K a month, but not after today. Whole Foods will be getting my money going forward.
