Had a great experience my waitress was great
We had an 8 party table , 5 of the 8 were kids . It took approx. 1hr & 30 minutes to receive our food ! We watched THREE tables in our sections receive their bread , drinks and food before us ! Two of the three tables got there AFTER us . After speaking with a manager after an hour she promised to “push “ our food . 30 minutes when it finally came it was cold like it was sitting SMH . After telling the manager , she apologized and walked away. After waiting so long for cold food our kids were agitated and fussy so we left ! This is my son’s favorite restaurant and now he has to find a mother favorite place because I really felt like they didn’t care at all about the service being provided to my family ‼️
I had the steak salad topped with ranch dressing..it was six of us and everyone spoke highly of the food and the excellent hospitality of the hostess and our waitress Hailee.. she was on point with her attentiveness and her jovial demeanor.. very reasonable prices with a wide variety of meal choices.. the food was cooked to perfection.. I always eat way too many rolls.. LOL.. I will be back.. ?
Great visit! We stopped here after going to another restaurant and being told it would be 10-15 minutes before seating and waiting past 30 minutes. We found out that restaurant had one waitress serving everyone. So, we came over to this one. We were seated right away and our servers greeted us quickly. The food was good. You definitely do not leave hungry. Someone in my party had a birthday and the staff made it a lot of fun. We have been here several times and have not had a bad experience yet. Definitely recommend stopping for lunch or dinner.
The food was made to order and the staff was very professional and it was very clean as well.
This was the first time my son and I had eaten here. I ordered barbecue, mashed potatoes, and a salad. My son ordered ribs, green beans, and a salad. The salads were fresh, the green beans had a smoked ham flavor, the mashed potatoes were real potatoes, and all of these were delicious. My son said the ribs were good, meaty, and tender. The barbecue was very good and also tender. It was not served on a bun with cole slaw but just on a plate with the mashed potatoes, and this was perfect. There was a toasted bread roll included. We had enough food to bring home for the next day. Our smiling server was friendly and attentive, and brought us a sample of all of the sides in order to choose which one we wanted. The restaurant was busy and we did not have to wait to be seated. I would recommend this establishment to anyone to eat here, and I certainly will eat here again, even when I am by myself.
OK. So I know that you have to take chain restaurants with a grain of salt and I've been to some where it was a good experience. I was looking to have a decent ribeye to celebrate some good news I received and thought I might give this place a try. How bad could it be? Let me tell you. Walking into the restaurant there's a display of different cuts of steaks and they all look real good. It's a reasonable expectation to get an enjoyable meal, if nothing else, than from the steak itself. When I ordered the ribeye, I was asked if I wanted mushrooms and some other toppings on it. If you're expected a good cut of meat, why would you want to bury it with toppings? That makes no sense. Texas Roadhouse isn't your gourmet type of restaurant. No toppings, just as rare as you can make it is fine for me. When I bit into the steak, after it finally came out, I tried to figure what they were using to destroy it. Once, in a restaurant, I had a steak that was marinated in barbecue sauce. (Good Grief!) I thought maybe that's what they did to mine. Another thought crossing my mind was that they used some kind of seasoning to make my steak unpalatable. It's beyond me why someone working in the kitchen thinks they can put together any concoction and think it's worthwhile. You have what looks to be a good piece of meat, why would you purposely go out of your way to make it unappetizing? I couldn't finish it but I did bring it home thinking I might be able to put it on a hook to catch catfish in our pond. Actually, the pulled pork my wife ordered was destined for the same fate as my ribeye. Her order was so dry, it must've come from an octogenarian pig. It seems they may have some difficulty with whoever is at the controls of the cooking apparatus. My curiosity about the value of visiting here again has been satisfied. Never Again?
We went for special dinner, waitress was the only thing that was right. Ordered a medium steak came out rare, bloody, they took it back 30 minutes went by, Still no steak, it takes 6 minutes to cook a small filet, and they were not that busy. I got up and walked out. A steakhouse needs to be consistent, last week my steak was burned. The only thing consistent is steaks that are not cooked to order. The burnt steak we paid for, Manager should of taken it off, this steak I refused to pay since a new one never made it to our table, nor did a Manager. The kitchen is not run properly and TR should be able to get the best kitchen staff that can cook a steak. Outback has never let me down on a steak, they know how to do it.. want a great steak perfectly cooked go to outback, and if they make a mistake the customer does not pay for the incompetence of the kitchen
My wife and I went out to dinner here and had a very good experience. We haven't been out to dinner together in nearly two years. Our waiter was prompt with taking our orders and serving us with our meal. The meal was excellent, my prime rib was cooked to perfection. All the sides were great and my peach margarita was very good.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyoneWho wants good food at a good price.
On vacation in Charlottesville with my love. We went here for Valentines day dinner. The place was very busy so we had a little wait. Witch was understandable. The wait staff was very friendly and our server was amazing with making sure we were enjoying our dinner. We really loved the food and the service here. Best stake house ever.
