Location doesn’t take coupons
There is something melancholy about sitting in a Subway inside a Walmart in Charlottesville, VA. The sandwiches are OK, certainly not gourmet, and they can be healthier if you add lots of vegetables. I admit to enjoying my meal in a sort of anthropological way...fascinating.
bought several 6 inch subs and donated them to the homeless along route 29 today :)
I purchased a sandwich as I was out on the road and needed to eat something quick. I am a very observing person & really careful when it comes to the handling of my food. The attendant did the food and then accepted cash with the same gloves. He then proceeded with the same gloves shortly after when new customers came in to fix their sandwiches. That is ? nasty. I am sure they are not that poor to not be able to change gloves after handling money that has been everywhere. I threw my sandwich in the garbage. I wasted my money ??♀️

Food is ok but the service isn't very friendly. They also don't accept Subway coupons that are mailed out locally.

Clean establishment with good service. Any of the foot longs are great; I prefer the whole whet toasted.
Two sandwiches almost twenty dollars, won't visit there without coupons again.
