Beautiful store with a lot of seating available. We went there for a business meeting with few of my colleagues. They had a bid rectangular table to fit us all . The staff was super nice and friendly. It’s a busy store .
Staff was super friendly and the cafe was spacious. Although our drinks were made incorrectly and forgotten, Paris made sure to rectify the situation immediately and even brought the drinks to our table.
Starbucks is basically Starbucks. But this was a poor and frustrating experience.I stopped in for a large Cap and a pastry. The pastry case had about 20 different pastry items displayed. I asked for one of my favorites but was told they were out ... even though I was actually looking at the one in the display case. I chose another and was told they were out -- again making my selection from what was in the display case. So I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and was told they only had cinnamon raisin bagels. No "Sold Out" signs anywhere. I felt betrayed. I asked the clerk why they displayed so many pastries that were not for sale. She just replied, "we're out of the pastries for sale."This is like Subway being out of mayonnaise, or McDonald's being out of fries. What?!?I canceled my order and walked out, smh, and am writing this from a competing, local coffee shop. They aren't out of anything here. Go figure!
Every Starbucks I have been to in NC and Virginia have offered me free refills as a gold-card holder of iced tea without having to wait until I sit and drink the one I ordered - except this one. I have even had a regional director praise the other stores for doing so as good business even though technically they are not supposed to. The manager of this Starbucks, Jenn, made it clear that it was a violation of company policy and even though I pay her salary many times over at Starbucks yearly by my purchases, she stands by her guns. Not only is she a poor manager, but I only go there if I don’t have time to go to another store in town.
Sadly it is the most affordable option for decent coffee in town.
Nice location, friendly staff, consistent coffee, brownies are small.
It's so cold in here. Music is really loud.. But I always love my coffee at Starbucks. It's just cold in here. Charlottesville
Had the best experience I’ve had in a long time with Starbucks, at this location! I worked for Starbucks a couple years ago, I know how stressful it gets. All these beautiful people had smiles on their faces. I had ordered a Venti Toasted White Mocha with 6 Blonde shots and oat milk from a DIFFERENT location (I get this almost every day so I know what it tastes like) and it was horribly wrong. I came to this location in hopes of adding a little something to fix it, and the sweet barista offered to remake it entirely for me. She apologized and was so kind. They didn’t have to go above and beyond, but they did it anyways. It’s like a $10 drink and I needed my caffeine for my 3 hour drive. Thank you to all you wonderful barista’s, but specifically the ones that helped me this morning! I included my order in this post in hopes you’ll know who you are because I didn’t catch your names! Thank you!?
I mean. They have good coffee. It's a Starbucks what do you expect
Always good. Seems there's some confusion these when ordering a iced/hot mocha coffee. It's assumed one wants white chocolate. Not just this store, a couple of others as well.
