Soooo good. Brews and food were very good. I had the Our Passion in Music- “fruited cologne-style Kolachbier”. Very refreshing after a mountain hike. Check it out, we weren’t disappointed at all. I will definitely be back!! Thanks Kyle for being an awesome bartender. He was very friendly and helpful.
Very self serve kinda place. No menus. You need to scan the QR code to get the menu. Then you have to go to the order desk to order your meal, don't forget your table # ! We ordered mac and cheese $9, Reuben$14 ( no bread) with tater tots and 2 cokes . plus 2% $6 tip. Not sure why.... I had to request cutlery. Mac and cheese was tasty but food temp was on the cool side. The Reuben was more of a hash mixed with the kraut topped with some melted cheese. All in all, not my favorite place. Maybe it will be yours.
TRY THE WONCHOS!!! This place has excellent beer across the board, all styles. No disappointments in twelve beers is so rare. See the flight? Every single one delightful. Checked them all in Untapped straight away. How often does that happen?!! PS Corinne was the absolute best bartender there is - say hello for us & enjoy your visit!
The burger and fries were good but expensive. I would overlook the cost, except for the lack of service. You find your own table and scan a QR code with your phone, then play with your phone, scrolling and resizing to try to read the menu. Then you give up and look around for a real menu, and don't find any. You ask for one, but there are none. So you just ask at the counter for something you know they have, like a burger and fries. Then you sit at your table, wondering why they can't print a menu, yet they printed and laminated an entire page and taped it to your table, just to provide you the QR code. Then you wonder why you didn't just leave, and you remember it's because you already paid for parking. So, if you like to serve yourself and play with your phone, you'll be fine. If you like to relax and be served, you may find it annoying and tacky.
Great food, great atmosphere. Next door to our bed and breakfast (South Street Inn). Family freindly.
A cool, local spot with great drafts and just as impressive food. The Cheesy Chicken Corn Chowder was fantastic, but one-upped by the Reuben with corned beef, slow roasted here on site. The food was fantastic, but The Dolly - a blonde stout, made me give up any thoughts of trying out their other selections! A definite winning pick for a evening dinner spot, and a place I will definitely return to when I find myself back in Hoo-ville again!
Good beer - the Ferus was excellent. Cheese curds were amazing! Also I liked the bar set up. They had a clear spot at the end of the bar to order so you didn't have to fight your way through people sitting at the bar to get a drink. Loved it!
The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was just as fantastic! The dining and bar areas were cleaned and sanitized as soon as guests left. Most importantly our waiter Kyle was personable and accommodating, allowing us to alter menu options without any hesitation! Fantastic work Southstreet Crew! ??
