This place is a must go! The skirt steak was phenomenal. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Excellent wine, whiskey, beer selection. The server was very knowledgeable and seemed to know the menu front to back. 10s across the board. We will definitely be back!

One of the BEST meals I've had in Charlottesville! The steak was cooked perfectly rare, the flavors of the civeche was mouthwatering and the head on grilled shrimp was delicious! Service was on point and the restaurant decor was inviting and relaxing. A perfect treat to a stressful week!

A gem of Charlottesville. It is inside the Dairy Market which has a great vibe and atmosphere. The food is influenced by South American flavors and absolutely delicious! We had the empanadas and ceviche for appetizers. For dinner we tried several different cuts of meat and some roasted vegetables on the side. The meat was cooked perfectly. The staff was also very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. I recommend sitting at the chefs table to be able to watch the chef and have a really unique experience.

Dinner at this restaurant last Monday was a real joy. To start, we loved the high ceilings, fresh open dining space, and lovely art that filled the far (south) wall of the restaurant. All the food we ordered was truly delicious. Side items were also served in an easy-to-share way. The musicians that came in and played guitar that night were outstanding and made the dinner an exceptional night out! The good news is that they play there regularly every Monday evening, so I recommend going then. Only warning is that dinner is very pricey, but not unreasonable for what you get.

This place is the definition of hit or miss. The service is always a miss to be honest.. the food is 50/50 as they do have random chefs cooking. Very low staffed.. server was the bartender and manager who was doing host. Maybe just need more staff and a steady chef team instead of changing it up every week.

My girlfriends and I chose to come to South and Central for a Friend’s Holiday Brunch meal. We each ordered the skirt steak meal dish that included a vessel that reminded me of the masa that tamales are wrapped in. We also ordered a stuffed French toast with cinnamon ice cream and a raspberry compote. While the brunch options were limited, we had no complaints at all in regards to the flavor of the food. I would definitely come back if it were not for the extremely poor service and professionalism, not on our server’s part, but on the manager’s part. We watched as parties who’d come after us had their meal and settled up and left. A person in our party had initially paid cash but after waiting almost 45 minutes as we watched our server request change from the manager (at least 3 times) who appeared to be engaged in ridiculously long conversations with not 1 party but 2, we resorted to flagging servers down. We stopped 4 of the staff at different times to inquire about the hold up and ask to settle our bill. The staff all seemed to be extremely embarrassed and apologetic, while the manager was oblivious. We finally paid the bill with a card since paying with cash appeared to be the holdup, as only a manager with poor time management and/or customer service skills, was able to get change. It’s very unfortunate that this manager was on duty the day we were there because I’d easily give the restaurant 5 stars for the food, ambiance and the sheer instagrammable vibe of it all.

Minimalist style furnitures and plating. The service however is lacking sometimes. We arrived at the restaurant with a reservation but no one greeted us. We’ve seen the same happening to other guests at the door too. Maybe they’re just very understaffed. The ceviche appetizer was quite blend to me. The sauce doesn’t have any flavor except from sourness. The burger entree that I had was very good. Perfectly cooked pattie and full of flavor. Will definitely come back in the future.

Beautiful restaurant, great live musicians, the most delicious food. We had baked Provolone, Whole Branzinos, Wagyu Steak, all incredible. Dessert was just ok, and no decaf coffee.I will say we were disappointed that they asked if we were there for a special occasion (we were) and then they did nothing. Why bother asking?Definitely plan to return just for the food.

AMAZING RESTAURANT. Insanely beautiful. Best Skirt Steak I have ever had. Great wine selection. I will definitely be back!

We found the restaurant to be a great and different place to eat. The staff was exceptiona and the decor and atmoshere special. We ordered the hamburger and it was truly delicious. In talking with the staff we learned that the restaurant was opened in the midst of Covid . Well done .....
