My wife and I walked in on a Friday around 11:30am and there were only 3-4 people in the store. We stood at the counter waiting to order, and after a few minutes one employee walks up to the register, then walked away without saying anything to us. A few minutes later she came back and I said “Hi” and figured she would take our order. She said “I’ll be with you in just a minute” so it sounded like we would be helped within the next minute. We kept waiting and no one came over to take our order. There were at least two employees working l, so she could have taken our order while the other(s) made the smoothies but instead we just stood there for 10-15 minutes. We started to walk out and the employees saw us and didn’t say anything so we just kept going and left.
This review is based on cleanliness. This just might be the dirtiest Smoothie King on planet earth. It appears it hasn’t been cleaned since opening.
Why do you have one man working on a Saturday? My order was supposed to be ready 10 minutes before I walked in and of course there are 8 other people waiting to have their drinks made and I ask him if it’s ready and they haven’t made it. Don’t say online orders will be ready if they aren’t. Get some more staff.

Just stopped here at 1pm on a Wednesday. Door was locked and noone answered the phone. How are you closed in the middle of a work day????
placed an order for 9:45am pick up. says the store opens at 7am— i went to the store (again, online it says they were open) to pick up my order, but nobody was in there. i called the store twice and nobody picked up. why would the store allow online orders if the store is not open? there shouldn’t be an option to order online if they store is NOT open. it was a waste of my money.
The sign on the door upon entering advertises season pumpkin drinks are now available. No sign in the store telling what the drinks are, and if you ask, the cashier woman gets irritated and says “there’s like 5, I don’t know.” Awesome. Also, it could use some cleaning and air freshener?I left while my husband waited in line, just to avoid the gym locker smell.
hours are incorrect, from the other reviews it seems like it’s been a problem for a while.9/21 update: staff was friendly but smoothie was terrible. i’ve had the same smoothie probably a dozen times from other places but i threw this one out because the taste was awful and it was chunky.
I assume the owner flagged my honest previous review. 0 attention and rude attitude towards me, but the dirty old man at the counter had plenty of inappropriate looks and creepy comments for the young lady who entered the store after me. I would absolutely steer clear of this place as a young woman in Charlottesville.
