Creative dishes with fresh ingredients but execution can be bumpy, eg sweet instead of regular ice tea and shrimp and grits with shells on the shrimp...
Sorry I didn’t get photos! Fabulous dinner with friends! Mussels and Lamb Chops were delicious- mussels had a bit of spice to them, which I loved. Another member of our party thought the flavor was too strong. I heard the crab cakes were amazing, and I got to try the potato stack- PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS IN THOSE!!! I loved the potatoes so much I ordered 2 servings to go!! They traveled well and were just as amazing the second day!Can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful meal and fantastic cocktails... All of the frying batter was delicious and the crabcakes were small but chock full of crab, nothing else to dilute it. Plates may look small at first but once you dig into them you will realize they are the perfect size, perhaps even larger than you ever needed. Can't wait to go again and try more things. Service was also very fast and staff were very friendly. Definitely my new favorite restaurant!
We stopped in for a drink (had noticed a couple beer named for the game Settler of Catan) bar had a nice atmosphere it wasn't to crowded. If it wasn't in a different state we would probably go regularly
The food here is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is imaginative, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. There's a short but quality wine list, along with craft cocktails, a full bar, and a selection of tap beer. Highly recommended.
My wife and I went there last week for my birthday. I had the rainbow trout; it was fantastic! My wife had the mousaka. It was a little rich. (She took home a fair amount of the generous portion. That was good for me because I had it the next day for lunch. Delish!). We shared the yummy tuna tartare for an appetizer. And the bartender made us delicious mock tails to celebrate my birthday.I’m already thinking about the next time we’ll go, but I’m not waiting for another birthday.
We had friends in town from Monte Carlo...took them to Siren tonite. Amazing experience. They loved the food. Laura is a fabulous chef and I am so happy she has found her niche she can call home.

Food was phenomenal. Chef definitely knows what she’s doing. This was the best meal of 2022 and it’s May. We had an excellent dumpling appetizer. Main course was a Scallop dish and a fish of the day (haddock). Bold flavors and well appointed spice levels. Service was great. Charlottesville restaurants routinely have great food with lackluster service but not here!
